Pleased, but Disappointed

The location was exactly what we needed, and the price we got was excellent. However, we did not understand ahead of time that we would be living in someone else's apartment - the closets were full of their stuff, the drawers, the fridge. The place was not cleaned before we arrived; there was dirty laundry around, and no toilet paper. The bedsheets were dirty; there was insufficient sheets and blankets. We expected (our bad?) a vacation rental type situation rather than feeling like we were living among someone else's stuff. It didn't seem right digging through other people's things to find what we needed. The price we got and location, however, were excellent. The host was nice and responded quickly.
