About this property

Come enjoy this 2 bedroom Treehouse located at the mouth of the Gulf in "The Hatch". This brand new rental is conveniently located just around the corner from Roy's Restaurant and the new Steinhatchee River Club Marina! It offers a combined living/dining/kitchen area, as well as 2 bedrooms. It has a front and back porch with seating and plenty of room under rental for parking, outdoor cooking, and fire pit!

The Master bedroom offers a king bed with an adjoining bath. The second bedroom offers a queen bed also with an adjoining bath. Sheets and towels are provided, bring your boat towels.

There is a TV in the living area offering a DVD player for your movies. The TV is NOT hooked up to cable or satellite. We encourage you to bring your favorite DVDs. No wifi is available at this time.

Steinhatchee is known for its scalloping during the summer, and its year round fishing. Bring your boat, canoe or kayaks, or rent them at one of the marinas, and enjoy all the river and the Gulf have to offer. Whether you are coming for one of the many fishing tournaments, or for a quiet time away from the hustle and bustle, Steinhatchee has the "old Florida" atmosphere you are looking for. You may even bring or rent a golf cart while you are here and cruise around town with the wind in your hair!

Treehouse excursions

Our group had to have 2 locations due to total number of travelers. This location was quiet and peaceful. 2 small issues were easily communicated to property manager with quick response time. Only thing I could advise future renters is to bring plenty of towels for drying off after showering. The swaying of the home took a little getting used to....we sometimes felt like we were still on the boat!! 😊

Last resort

Tight parking esp. if you have a boat (which we did) Not lighted at all outside, so bring a flashlight if you plan on getting back after dark. No TVs in bedroom, and the one in living room only plays DVDs Over all fair place to stay, but would choose somewhere else if available.

Great location

Great location .. parking was not as big as shown .. somebody put up barriers so it was hard to get boat in and out .. but other than that was great !!
