The accommodations are very nice. Small but manageable kitchen. Love the cleanliness of the hardwood floors over carpet.
I loved the main area! Nicely decorated with very large windows, and the one beside the kitchen table opened! Also a great fireplace that helped warm the main area in the evening. Lovely experience!
A nice big entryway that comfortably contained snow boots and ski boots along with jackets, pants etc.
Generally the place was clean, but the master shower had me squirming. A band-aid appeared after the first shower and an old soap plastic wrap. The floor is dark brown, so hard to tell if it is clean, but this made it questionable. Everything else was clean and comfortable.
My biggest complaint was the lack of shelving /drawers in the bedroom. There is a closet and 2 nightstands. I had 1 item that needed to be hung in the closet. Everything is casual for me on a ski vacation, so I needed drawers for all my ski attire, wicking wear and sweatshirts. I would recommend that this could be easily solved by installing wire drawers in the closet. I had to live out of my suitcase, which was on the floor (ick) because there was no place to move my clothes too. As you can tell, this is a huge pet peeve for me. When I rent for a week, I want to unpack.
The second bedroom was the same, the 2 boys lived out of their suitcases.
Short walk to shuttle bus and short walk to village. Very nice. The walk to the slopes was too far for me in ski boots and hauling skis, but the boarders had no issue with the walk.
Lastly, we rent units like this multiple times a year, and I’m growing accustomed to a few more essentials being provided. A few examples here, there was shampoo and conditioner, but no soap or body wash (because its Whistler, I paid $9 for 2 bars of soap). There were a few kitchen items like some tea and spices, but no sugar. I know this is pretty picky, but it was $7 for the smallest package of sugar. I do understand this puts more expense on the owner, so this is really just feedback for the next person, to pack a few of these items.
