Do Not Rent!

We had issues with leaks from the ceiling all week. We reported the first one to Vacasa within 30 minutes of arriving at the property. Nothing was done that day, some guests had to sleep on the couch, and I had to follow up with them all week on additional leaks and getting a refund (which I still haven't heard about). I didn't receive communication from them that anything would be fixed until 3 days after our initial report, and some leaks were left all week. Meaning we had dirty water coming from the ceiling in our bedroom. They offered to put us in another home, but when I asked for details got no response. I also asked Vrbo for help and received nothing from them. Vacasa and Vrbo clearly do not care about the health and safety of their guests.

Needs maintenance

Heater in the primary bedroom didn't work. Roof leaked a little in the same room. Garbage disposal in kitchen didn't work. Other misc stuff off also. And just getting aresponse to these issues took forever, and none were resolved during our stay. Not impressed w Vacasa, at all

Taos is great

Everything was adequate and the outside areas were great. The ceiling fans should have the remotes available when the weather is warm since ventilation for the home is lacking when the wind is calm or not from a favorable direction. Issue was corrected once the local Vacasa team became involved and contacted the owner.

Fun Family Home

We stayed at this home in Taos for 4 nights and had the best time enjoying the hot tub and outdoor space with the stunning views. The kitchen has everything you would need, the living room had plenty of games, books and movies. You might even see some wildlife walking through the backyard! Very close to town and attractions. Definitely recommend!
