Disappointing Amenities
This property looked so promising at first, but after an actual key entry (not keyless) and a lot of missing necessities such as towels, toilet paper & silverware, it went south very quickly! Ok, so two keys, one for each of two back doors and we had six adults. The front could only be locked from inside and no access from the outside if locked, meaning no key to the front door. I soon learned that the previous guests had stolen several items, which is understandable but not acceptable! We had six adults staying for four nights and it wasn’t until the day that we received toilet paper and bath towels. We HAD to go purchase our own toilet paper! This owner seems very inexperienced! There was the bare minimum of household items: cookware, trash cans (bedrooms/bathroom) hangers, etc. We rented this VRBO so we could vacation comfortably without the restrictions of a hotel and this property was disappointing to say the least! It’s unclear to me why the property wasn’t checked for all the stolen items before our arrival?
I feel a little cheated out of our $1,200+ total spent for this booking…
