Lovely condo near Blowing Rock
We had a lovely stay during thanksgiving week. The views were great and its very close to blowing rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway . It was perfect for our family of 5. The games were a big plus with the kids and in rainy days. The kitchen was well supplied of pans and there is a publix and walmart approx 16min from the property. My only complaint is that it needs better cleaning, the sofa was very dirty and full of stains.

Best stay ever
This is the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. I wore white socks all day and they were still white at the end of the day. Condo was perfect size. Plenty of room for everyone. Very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful view. Quiet neighborhood. We would definately stay here again. Loved it here.

Grandfather Highland Games Stay
We visited this property for our trip to the Grandfather Mountain Highland games. Our family stayed, and there was plenty of room. Sitting on the covered porch and enjoying the view was a favorite for the adults. The property was located only a short drive to the parking lot for the GMHG shuttle. The property was clean, spacious and well appointed. The check in/out process was easy. We all agreed that we would rent this property again.

Mediocre Accommodations in Beautiful Resort
This is our third trip to Echota. We love the resort with the amenities and the views from all of the condos and the proximity to great hiking and mountain towns. We chose this unit because we needed the extra beds in the loft for adult children who joined us on the trip. This particular condo was clean and acceptable but quite basic in terms of the appointments. Giving econo-lodge vibes. Towels cheap, scratchy, and not plentiful. Bedding was mediocre. The appliances and fixtures are older and caused some small issues during our stay. I would say that it was not well-maintained for a rental. The only part that was truly unacceptable, however, were the pots and pans. In this area there is a lot of home cooking due to the location and it the kitchen appointments were sub-standard. The photos are realistic but they do make the condo look bigger than it is. It is tight with a full-house. Another annoyance was the fact that you have to go through another rental agency, "Vacasa" and download their app to communicate versus using VRBO. The views are beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the deck, that only seats 4 btw.
