Blue Mesa Lodge 41C by AvantStay | Ski In/ Ski Out Unit w/ Balcony!

Located on Sunset Plaza in the heart of Mountain Village, Blue Mesa Lodge and Condos offer the perfect location for your vacation year-round. This home offers prime skiing access - but with no designated parking spot.

This room is located on the 4th floor and is accessed by an elevator and interior hallway. You enter the unit and are welcomed into the main living space, which is surrounded by views of the mountains. On the main level, there is a king bed, TV, bathroom with shower/tub combo and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a microwave, mini-fridge, sink, toaster, coffeemaker with starter coffee, and dishes. A sliding door leads to a small deck with views of all of the action in Mountain Village. Up the spiral stairs from the main level is the loft with a queen bed.

*Home Truths:*
- There is a ski locker for the unit and a common laundry room on-site.
- There is no A/C at this property.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Telluride experiences "off-seasons" in the spring and fall. Many services are not available to travelers. Please check activities/restaurants/home amenities, etc. when booking these dates.
- Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

The location was the best part of this property. The kitchen supplies were poorly thought out. There were dirty dishes and utensils in the cupboards. The carpet was stained and worn with exposed tacks. The kitchen sink had no strainer and the bathroom sink had a broken stopper. Dining as a family was impossible due to two small tables, one of which was covered with three electronic devices. There were four mismatched chairs, two of which were coming apart and two were too short for dining. It would have been nice to have a vegetable peeler and corkscrew. There was a 16 oz bag of peppercorns but no grinder and about 1 teaspoon of salt. ( There was an abundant supply of other spices). A game or two or a deck of card would have been nice touch. Washer and dryer were featured in ad but location was a mystery . Dirty dishes were to be placed in dishwasher and started. There was no dishwasher.

The unit was sub standard. The window in loft would not open. Maintenance said needed new part. It got hot up there. Also, the bedsheets did not fit well and linens were not good. The one toilet stopped up and overflowed into bathroom. We are unable to use bathroom one night and next morning. Parking was not onsite. Walk to parking garage was at least 15 minutes and cost $35 day for self park. No valet.

Great location but needs some upgrades!
Absolutely great location. Great if you have young children because of the short distance to the slopes. It is very nice that they have a locker downstairs where you can put all your ski equipment. Was very easy to find and the instructions were helpful. A few things I noticed and I wanted to share is that this place needs some upgrades. Thermostats, furniture, bathroom, microwave are all from the 1990’. The carpet needs to be replaced. The shower head had so much pressure that my kids hated taking showers. The heater makes a ticking sound that kept waking me up in the middle of the night. After the first couple of nights, I decided to turn down the heat so it doesn’t turn on. I had to do some work on my computer and the internet was absolutely horrible. Kept disconnecting..
