Our newly remodeled 2/1 basement apartment is located in popular Uptown (heart of Denver) in our beautiful historic home built by the famous Denver architect, William Lang. The natural light, high 10 foot ceilings, new remodel, and personal garage will make you feel right at home. Within steps you'll be on 17th Ave, often referred to as Denver's Restaurant Row.

The Space:

Step inside our modern space and you'll immediately be taken back on how open and bright our apartment is. Stylishly decorated, our 2/1 apartment comfortably sleeps 4 with enough space to spread out and enjoy. High ceilings and natural light make this basement apartment feel like a ground level oasis. Fast internet and Sling TV make our home ideal for those who travel for work. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you'll need to cook at home. Your own washer and dryer makes it convenient for long or short term stays.

Outside:
Covered & secure parking for 1 car makes staying at our home a breeze. Access to your unit is directly from the garage, making it so easy for those cold days. (Note: Street parking is available for those traveling with 2 vehicles). We do provide a small bistro table with 2 chairs for morning coffee.

Guest Access:
Self Check-in Instructions will be sent 48 hours before your stay. Access to unit is private and accessed through the backside of the property (garage).

The Neighborhood:
Located in North Capitol Hill. Walking distance to 17th street shops and restaurants.

Getting Around:
You can take the train from the airport to Union Station and catch an Uber to our home. We are in walking distance to many great places. You don't need a car but we do recommend one to experience all of Denver.

Other Things to Note:
THERE ARE NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED.

We are a dog friendly rental. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $100. You can select the pet option in the same area you select guest count. If you have missed it, please reach out to us to pay your pet fee. Please inquire about multiple pets and multiple month stays.

We require an additional $500 deposit for local guests that book. Please inquire for details.

CHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children/infants we allow on the property.

There is a neighborhood noise ordinance of 11:00 PM and ask that you please respect the neighbors. We ask that any socializing after 10:00 PM be done in the comforts of our spacious home and not outside.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
After confirming your booking, you'll receive a text to download our app, DACK. Using the app, you can request early check-ins and late check-outs for an additional fee. While we can't guarantee approval due to same-day check-ins and check-outs, we'll do our best to accommodate your requests when possible.

TRAVEL INSURANCE/CANCELLATIONS
We HIGHLY recommend buying travel insurance through your airline company, car rental company, or a travel insurance website. We cannot provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy. This includes date change requests as they are considered the same as cancellations (if the new requested check-in date is a later date than your original check-in date). We cannot provide a refund due to travel related issues or Covid, Please review your cancellation policy if you haven't already. This can be found under your reservation, directly through our listing, or through the website that you booked. In most cases (but not all), you have a minimum of 48 hours to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund. Many reservations may have a longer period for a full refund. Last minute bookings are typically non-refundable.

This apartment was amazing! Honestly this is the best apartment for attention to details, for example a kurig with pods or a drip coffee maker with filters, a choice of sweeteners, a number of small individual snacks, laundry pods, many lamps to make it feel homey...intuitive. Four stars because parking is difficult, anytime we arrived after 8 pm we spent a good deal of time looking for parking. You enter this property through the alley, you enter through a garage and then into your backyard. That does not take away from the property just something that was new to us this time. You could walk to anything you needed easily, I felt safe. I would stay here again.

Exactly as advertised…
Our stay was great, no major issues, very clean, full laundry mat, easy to locate, great location, and the neighborhood felt safe if you are used to city living. Now there are a few things to note, there is only one entrance through the garage and no other way to access the property. The garage fit an average size SUV (TOYRAV4), but anything bigger might be an issue. There are stairs to access the front door to the property and they are steep (no handrail) and then another flight of stairs on the inside, so if you have mobility issues this is something to consider. But besides that we would stay again.

Great spot in Uptown
The space itself is awesome, really high ceilings, nice finishes, and well furnished. The location is why we chose it. Great access to Uptown, downtown, and Capitol Hill. The garage space is a major plus, as parking anywhere in central Denver is a challenge. We will keep it in mind for any future visit to Denver.

A great, comfortable stay in the heart of Denver
This was such a lovely place to stay. Super clean, neat, and beautiful. Loved the little outside area between the entrance and the garage, too. The kitchen was great, loved that it had a laundry room (convenient with an infant), as well as the high chair!! That was very helpful. We had an issue with the temperature when it was cooler overnight and the heat didn't seem to work. They responded quickly and sent maintenance in. Unfortunately, they were not able to fix it during our stay. Thankfully, it wasn't very cold the rest of our time there and maintenance tried their best to warm up the house for us while he was working on it. The entrance is tricky because it is from the alley, through the garage. We had the car and so it worked out, but if I (a woman) was getting back there by myself at night, it would've felt a little uncomfortable. However, nothing bad actually happened. There were lots of food options nearby, (walkable!). We really enjoyed the stay & are happy with everything we had while there. My partner had to work from home while I attended my conference, and he used the dining room table to do so. This worked out, but if you need privacy to work, there isn't a good option since it's just the 2 bedrooms and the open living area. A note on the garage: we have a 2020 JEEP Gladiator and it was TIGHT fit in the garage. We did it, never hit the doors or walls, but it was just barely enough room to walk around the car. Smaller car is definitely better.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment! Both remarked that it was highly preferrable to a hotel due to garage, fantastic full kitchen, spacious, and close to where we were going downtown. Will stay here again!

This was a great spot to stay while we were in Denver. We rented bikes and it was great to be able to store them in the garage. The house had plenty of amenities, i.e. shampoo, etc. A loaded kitchen etc. Would def stay again.

Beautiful basement, very large space
Garage space held our full size SUV nicely, and was safe for our 2 night stay. Flooring in unit is bubbling/loose and caused us to trip frequently. Shower only works on HOT, so a refreshing shower after a long day of driving was unfortunately not an option. Main Bed had hair in it, took pictures and video, however smelled clean, so I used my lint brush to get all the hair off the sheets so I could sleep. Odd that hair was only on one side of the bed. Unit is really close to strip clubs, restaurants, and is really convenient for downtown Denver stays.

Denver in July
The apartment is in a lovely brownstone in the basement but it didn't feel like a basement space. It was bright, clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you would need for a longer stay and it was great to have an awesome laundry. The floor is floating laminate that is buckling/lifting in some places and may be a trip hazard. I would say the neighborhood is transitional. We were moving one of our kids and had a minivan full of items so was a bit worried about leaving it on the street and was VERY happy to find out that the van fit in the garage easily and that was a perfect solution. We did not do much in the immediate area since we were visiting family. We would stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Neighborhood stay close to downtown
My teenage son and I enjoyed staying in this home. We were in town for my work meeting but wanted to stay in a neighborhood instead of the conference hotel. This home is nicely furnished with everything that you need, and is in between a convenience store and an upscale grocery. Amazing restaurants are within 2 blocks, and the central business district is in walking distance. There is also a bus stop a block away. Communication with the host was fantastic. I would definitely stay in this home again.

For a basement apt, it was surprisingly bright and nicely furnished. Everything was very clean and we really did not want for anything as it also came well stocked. The proximity to a great market also made for an easy shopping option. Would stay again!

Week in Denver Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family! Two nice big bedrooms, single bath, kitchen, living room and dining area----spacious, clean, modern. Everything was well-appointed with thoughtful storage, bath, cooking and laundry details. The location was so convenient to a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as a great fine foods market nearby. The on-site garage was a real plus. Email/Text communications with management was convenient and timely. We will definitely stay again in the future. A real gem!

❤️ Hideaway retreat
We’ve stayed in vacation rentals for many years. This one ranks as one of the 2 best in our experience. The location is close to downtown and it has a garage! Very well stocked with comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated, lots of natural light and very clean! Our daughter lives in Denver and we will definitely stay at this rental again.

Classy and Convenient
The conference hotel for a meeting I attended was full, so I took a chance on this property. I was so pleased I did! It is spacious, fresh, clean and well located. The walk to the conference was about 7 blocks. Within a 2 minute walk there is a gourmet grocer, bars, restaurants and a dispensary. The rental is nicely decorated and well equipped. Highly recommend!
