About this property

Castaways 8D sits gulf front with picturesque views of the Gulf of Mexico. Once you are here, park the car and forget about it. Walk the beach to the most popular restaurants and to Gulf Place beach access where all the awesome festivals are held, such as The National Shrimp Festival and the Hangout Music Festival. So close to the famous Hangout and Pink Pony Pub, you can smell the food in the air! This beautiful and well cared for home is ready to accommodate your entire family (up to 12 persons) with 3 bedrooms plus extra spaces and sleeping arrangements. The primary suite boasts a king size bed and an attached full bath with double sinks. Guest bedroom #1 holds another king size bed, and guest bedroom #2 contains a queen size bed with an attached lavatory for freshening up. The guest bathroom is shared and just off the guest bedrooms and den area. The home also provides 3 queen sleeper sofas, 2 in the main living area and 1 in the den. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking basics, including a K-cup coffee maker. The complex is equipped with a beach front, sparkling swimming pool, a spacious sun deck with lounging chairs, grilling area, and private beach access. Come on down and enjoy the best of what our area has to offer.
Beach Chairs & Umbrellas: Sometimes guests leave behind chairs and toys they have purchased. If they are clean and in good condition, we will leave them for the next guests. Or, these items are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at many local stores. Also, there are vendors that set up very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for daily or weekly rent. Just find an empty one or the attendant. .
All Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided. A full list of what is provided and suggestions to bring will be emailed to you upon booking.

Frustrated

We had a registered emotional support animal for my niece that we were told could not stay. We were harassed about removing the dog from the premises after she was removed immediately. This should be something stated on your advertising. We understood no family pets but this was a different situation. Also the satellite dish didnt work and we were unable to watch tv for 36 hours after we arrived. We will find another condo and HOA that will accommodate us in the future. This was unacceptable! I will not recommend this property to anyone else!

Fantastic stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved staying here. Location was great, views were incredible, condo was so clean and roomy! We had my husband and I with our two 17 y/o sons and they each brought a friend. We had more than enough room to spread out when we wanted at the end of the night and lots of beds! We would absolutely stay here again. Parking lot is less than desirable but that was my only issue and wouldn’t stop me from booking here again.

Anniversary/Birthday Celebration

Our stay at the Castaways was nice, location was a lil uneasy to find and the only down fall to our stay was the balcony. It was very small- not intended for a large group-not spacious. We had a nice little happy waiting for us. Overall it was a nice stay.

Great experience

Property was clean and nice and just as expected from the pictures. We had the max number of people staying and it was comfortable. We did not feel cramped at all. Check in was super easy and the Property manager had excellent communication. No issues at all.
