Fun and Relaxing

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin--enjoyed the calm lake, beach, near-by hiking, biking and other activities. Joyce was responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Experience

The cottage was exactly as described on the listing. It was clean, ready for us when we arrived, amenities were as described, the pool and lake areas were well maintained, and we had a wonderful time. We spent 5 days at the cottage and enjoyed every bit of our time there. It was centrally located to Saugatuk (about 6 minutes away), Douglas (about 8 minutes away), and Holland (about 18 minutes away). Note: the cottage does have A/C, and it works GREAT, but it is not central air. If you sleep with doors shut, the bedrooms do get hot depending on weather. Also, the owner was VERY nice, prompt to respond, and exceptionally organized. Thank you for renting your cottage! We had a wonderful time and hope to come back again next year.

I grew up in SW Michigan. The first place I drove the day I got my license was Saugatuck, and my first job after attending Michigan State University was Editor of the Saugatuck Commercial Record. I love this town and there's no place where I'd rather own a comfortable, cozy, cottage. I hope you'll enjoy it too.

Goshorn Lake Resort has something for everyone. Kids can swim in an in-ground pool when the lake is too cold, go fishing and kayaking, cook smores over a fire, and spend time with family and friends. Downtown Saugatuck and Douglas are a short bike ride or drive away and there's so much to explore whether you're a shopper, art enthusiast, foodie, or nature lover. Don't miss Mt. Baldy and hiking the dunes past Oxbow.
