The history of the Alte Schmiede can be traced back to the 18th century. Traced back in the 19th century. Presumably, the barn is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city of Bleckede. In 2017 and 2018, the main building was completely refurbished while preserving the listed exterior facade. Today you can enjoy the modern luxury of a top holiday home combined with the charm of a listed building. Visible, ancient beams, still existing elements from the last centuries and sometimes adventurous sloping floors give all apartments an unmistakable charm.

"Alte Schmiede" = Neue Erfahrung!

Wir haben eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieterin kennengelernt und eine schöne, komfortable, geschmackvoll gestaltete Ferienwohnung angetroffen, die mit viel Aufwand und Geschmack aus einer Ruine erstanden ist!

Wir kamen in eine kleine, liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung und fühlten uns sofort wohl - alles da. Selbst als etwas defekt war, wurde es sofort ersetzt. 👍🏻 Auch Bleckede ist ein netter Ort mit freundlichen Menschen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub

Perfect appartement in a nice Village

The appartement is perfect. Very clean, very complete, comfortabel bed, great shower and a very handy shed for your bikes, including a 220v outlet for charging ebikes. The owner is very friendly and there are lots of tips and ideas for activities in the region. The Elbe river and cycling path are very near, shops and bakeries within a 5 minute walking distance. We would highly recommend the Alte Schmiede in Bleckede!
