The house is next to a smaller house on a beautiful clearing in the nature reserve at Diessen am Ammersee (6km). The house has bright, open spaces with vaulted ceilings, combined modern and monument protection. All around is a large garden with fire and barbecue area.
You live in a luxurious country house that exudes the charm of a stately estate. As a relic of the summer residence of the Wessobrunn abbots from the 17. In the 19th century, history revives in the mighty walls and cross vaults. High-quality interiors in listed buildings and a magnificent garden invite you to relax.
The secluded location of the building ensemble, which is shielded by a high wall with gate from the street, is very special. The nearest town is 4 km away. All around is a large forest area.
The country house stands next to a smaller building, which is also used as a holiday home, in a clearing 7 km from the Ammersee. The next bakery is located 4 km in Rott. As a starting point for hikes, walks and bike rides the house is ideal.
There are many possibilities for sightseeing close to the holiday house: Andechs, Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Zugspitze, Füssen, Neuschwanstein Castle, just to name a few of those really famous and popular sights nearby!

House rule:
Since Abtsried is located in the middle of a nature reserve, visitors can expect a really beautiful environment. As you behave automatically something respectful of nature.
The waste water in this hamlet is cleaned in a plant bed wastewater treatment plant!
This means for us and all guests:
Do not use toxic chemicals!
Do not throw wet wipes into the toilet!
Do not dispose of oil via the wastewater!
Avoid waste of energy!
Also:
No external day guests allowed.
No additional overnight guests allowed.

House regulations:
Abtsried is located in the middle of a nature protection area! The wastewater treatment works biologically and the two houses therefore have their own power and warm water production.
That means for us and every guest:
Do not use bleach or other toxic chemicals that can harm the environment!
Do not throw wet wipes etc. into the toilet!
Do not flush down the oil!
Be aware of your power usage!
