Not bad for a quick get away
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The three-unit property is gorgeous but could use some more love. We would consider staying here again.
Pros:
The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly
The unit was a 10 -15 minute walk to the boardwalk
Beautiful view
The master bed was comfy
Pots and pans/cutlery were in good shape
Cons:
The property had some plumbing/electrical issues
Beach access is difficult
Could be a tad bit cleaner
Could be better stocked/more towels
Needs some TLC/little outdated
The second bedroom bed was not comfy
The pool table felt was pilled. Luckily, I travel with duct tape and was able to easily de-lint it. I noticed a few small tears in the felt and there was a small lean but we played many games and had fun! The cues were not perfect but we found two that were acceptable. I can only imagine how difficult it is to upkeep a pool table in a vacation rental.
We do not know if the dishwasher or trash compactor worked. All other kitchen appliances functioned as expected. There is not a bathtub. The lighting is a mixture of warm and cool bulbs. I prefer all warm bulbs.
The laundry room adjacent to the unit could be tidied up.
