Available for 28 days in August, the property has been fully renovated since last summer with new paint, new window treatments, new pool furniture, new carpets and a groundskeeper and weekly cleaning service who will ensure your stay is exactly to your liking and everything is clean and in good working order. Guaranteed.

Perfect for outdoor entertaining, with large patio and BBQ. Incredible sunrises with gorgeous views from every room. There are large lawns on the north and south sides and a lower field which makes you feel like you are in Vermont. Property is clean with weekly cleaning service included. Reservations will be confirmed by host before booking. Lots of interior and outdoor space. Dogs are allowed at this former Merritt family homestead.

Awful.
I paid for 12 nights but two days before arrival, the host messaged to tell me the house wouldn’t be available for the first 3 nights. I had already booked airfare, so this put me in a terrible position. I had to quickly arrange for a hotel in NYC for me, our nanny & 4 children. The house was in terrible shape. Dusty & neglected with a completely overgrown yard. The furniture was covered in stains & cat hair. Outdated decor & drapes made the house feel like we were trapped in 1995. The outdoor furniture was so filthy, we promptly moved moldy cushions away from the pool. The IKEA kitchen was basically unusable & there wasn’t even a freezer. We left 3 days early because the host was constantly asking for us to accommodate showings for potential buyers, as well as requests to let friends in to get things (documents). I have never been so happy to leave a rental - it was simply gross & beyond disappointing.
