This gem is located in a transitioning part of town; there is still some construction going on in the the area and apartment complex, so there may be some noise and possibly some increased foot traffic, but rest assured it's a safe locale. It's a top pick for guests when it comes to extended stays, and even for short-term stays! Overall, our properties, across three states, have already rendered 1100+ delightful nights to over 340 guests (and counting!). Oh! Did I forget to tell you that we have an awesome security system?

It's very close to University of Houston. This means you are close to the medical center, universities, businesses and food. You also will be less than 4 miles from MD Anderson Cancer Center.

It is in gated low income community. The host asks you to download app but never answers his phone to give you the one time passcode to enter into the community. Called 6 different time over 4 hours and couldn't get answer. Messages me next morning saying I did give you code for the house door but I was looking for the gate door to be opened so I could reach the house. The house is in low income housing or subsidized housing. Host asked me what time I was arriving and had told he the timespan I was arriving but never answered the call when I tried to call hime 6 times.

Stay

The check-in process was terrible. We had to download a gate app and needed a verification code through their number and they weren’t very responsive. Then I tried to call the number they had listed and they informed me they couldn’t hear me talking so I had my friend call and they still couldn’t hear her talking, so just a terrible check process, then once we finally checked in, we walked in and had a weird odor and after observing the cabinets in the kitchen, we discovered a roach in the cabinets and several roaches throughout our stay. The kitchen, undersigned stuff had green mold and the sink drain smelled like fish. The sheets and beds had stains on them red stains from make up or who knows what and then there were white stains on the green pillows and the towel smell like mildew and the bathroom sink drain was clogged every time you turn on the water for just a couple seconds Several things are already broken prior to staying there. The owner did try to have maintenance come in and fix it during our stay. The apartment was very small and had trash and miscellaneous items underneath both beds. This is an unacceptable listing for a BnB. And I encourage anyone not to stay here, unless you like staying in a filthy environment.
