Mariners Landing has it all - gorgeous views, family fun amenities, and more! Make yourself at home in our 5 Bedroom Home. Relax and soak in the stunning views of Smith Mountain Lake.
This Home offers five bedrooms in that includes three full bathrooms, full-size kitchen, living area with fireplace, washer/dryer, and screened in patios and balconies. Nestled in Mariners Landing, this home offers a home feel, while only a short drive to the main resort and restaurant. This home features 2 king bed, 1 queen beds, 2 twin and a Queen Sofa Sleeper - perfect for up to 10 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishware, utensils, and appliances needed to create your favorite meals from home. All linens are included in rental. We suggest bringing extra beach towels so you do not have to cut into bathing towels, however, there is a washer and dryer - please note detergent not included.
All guests have access to all of the amenities that include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball court (equipment not included), playground, game room, walking trails, private beach, etc. There is also an 18-hole golf course on site; clubs not rented, contact Mariners Landing Golf Course for more pricing and tee times. There are also a boat launch and complimentary floater docks during the day time. Please let us know if you will be keeping a watercraft in the water overnight so we can provide you with proper tags at the front desk along with taking payment for slip rental.
Our front desk is here to help you check in or arrange to get you the keys to your unit if you are a late arrival. We are also here to help if you have any other questions or concerns.
Mariners Landing Hospitality is located in a private golf and residential community tucked away in a cove on Smith Mountain Lake.
We are located off of highways such as 122 and 24 and Mile marker C6 by water. We have free parking in our lot on site. We are nearby main highways and routes to get to restaurants, water sports, and sight seeing on and off the water. We are located approximately 45 minutes from both Roanoke and Lynchburg airports.
There are highways nearby and mile markers on the lake to get you to nearby restaurants, gift shops, and sight seeing. We have boat rentals on site through Mariners Landing Boat Rentals (a branch of Bridgewater Marina). We have a restaurant on site, The Landing Restaurant, please check their website for hours. Please note that the closest full grocery store (Food Lion) is 10-12 minutes away and a convenience store with a deli about 3 minutes away. When our restaurant is not open or for different style restaurants, the Westlake area has the majority of the lake's restaurants and activities that is about 20 minutes away. All things listed are easy to get to as we can give guests a guide for attractions and restaurants.

Love Mariners Landing

For the second year, we stayed at Mariners Landing which has been great for the grandchildren. The property this year was in a great location almost directly across from the pools, playground and tennis/pickleball courts. The courts and playground had been updated and improved since last year. Having the indoor pool and arcade was particularly nice on the one rainy day. The outdoor space was nice, especially the large back yard. The condo itself was a little dated. We needed another bedroom (not the fault of VRBO). I was aware of the setup - 2 BR, 2 BA upstairs and 3 BR, 1 BA downstairs but will definitely look for a different arrangement next year. The family room/kitchen area was a bit cramped due in part to a larger than necessary table and chair set. The kitchen was pretty well equipped but was lacking in a few things - such as good measuring cups, measuring spoons and particularly no cutting board. But the frig was very nice and we had a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee maker. A dish drain of some kind would have been helpful. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer. The contact person for this rental was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. Overall I highly recommend this rental if the bedroom setup meets your needs.

Nice but management was really disorganized. Needs repairs.

The property we wound up staying at was not the one listed, but it was somewhat comparable and in the same area. The Iisting for the property I was switched to never got updated in VRBO. The process for getting the access to the amenities was confusing, and they called asking for a payment which I had made months before. The pool was very nice, and the house was pretty and fairly clean. Lots of pots and pans, spices, linens, and good Wi-Fi. The fireplace did not work, and the front door wouldn’t lock. There was a lot of landscaping going on the week we were there, but they quit when it got dark. Overall, it was acceptable.
