Beautiful house, needs a little updating

Lovely neighbourhood, Bajan people are so friendly. A 10 minute walk to the fish market and restaurants, food is so tasty, the mini buses are great to use to get along to different towns. My daughters fiancé hired a car, this was amazing, we saw the whole island, The shore lines on the east and west side of the country are so different but absolutely beautiful, just a perfectly wonderful holiday

My Barbados Stay

This house was perfect for my family. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 separate living rooms, a full kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms and has a lot of living space. I was able to check in at 8 AM after arriving in Barbados. Other properties have a late check in. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and the backyard has fruit trees which I was able to help myself to. There is a supermarket and an ice cream shop about a 2 minute walk from the house. The owner, Leroy, called and made sure all was going well. I also got some travel tips from Leroy. The property is very quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The house has a washing machine, so I was able to do laundry daily after visiting the beach. I hug my clothes on the laundry line in the backyard to dry. The property has a private driveway so I did not have to worry about parking and getting back late. Oistins Fish Fry is about a 3 minutes drive from the house and Massy Supermarket. Cooking fresh meals daily saved me money as I did not have to visit a restaurant. Restaurants in Barbados are expensive. I would recommend the house to any traveler and my family would stay at this property whenever we are in Barbados. The people in Barbados are very friendly and the island is safe for travelers. The house is about a 10 minute drive to the best beaches on the island.

Back for another stay of several weeks

Another 5 star review! The home and all its amenities; the people who are always there to help whatever is needed; the community which enables you to both enjoy the wonderful Bajan neighbourhood as well as all the nearby tourist amenities. Miami Beach in particular is very beautiful; Oistins is wonderful and it is absolutely true that you get to return home to a quiet evening and amazing sleeps. We can only add to the previous review to say that we could not have asked for more and hope to return next year. We have made what we hope will be life long friends in Leroy and many others.

Barbados Beauty!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home away from home for 8 days in April. What a beautiful place, wonderful people and an experience of a life time, needless to say we will be returning as soon as we can. Leroy was in every way exceptional from the time of booking until the time of arriving home. He was always available to us if we needed anything, which we didn't because he had already done such a great job making sure that everything was already taken care of. The home is fully stocked with everything that you need for an enjoyable vacation plus more, anything you would have in your home, is all there. With air conditioning in both bedrooms and the new addition living room/bedroom it makes for a very comfortable and cool evening and sleep after a fun filled day at any of the beaches which are all within 15 minutes of the home. Miami Beach is about a 10 minute walk down Oistins hill and we were there almost every day! Oistins fish fry is certainly a Friday night that you cannot miss.. the entertainment and food is amazing, but make sure you go early to ensure that you do not wait long for your food. There are TONS of people there. The shopping in Bridgetown was great, if you are looking for some very nice items at a low cost, and souvenirs to take home, you must take a day and go! You can get there by bus, in about 25 minutes and the bus stops right out front of the house. The weather was exceptional everyday, and the people were incredible and our stay at this beautiful home away from home was like no other. We most definitely had the time of our lives and cannot wait to return!!! Carrie F

When I left my Island I have always dreamed being able to return because its such a lovely place to be. It has every thing for a complete luxury vacation on a budget. I feel comfortable and safe and I know the goodness of the people there. I grew up about 2 miles from where the property is located and now live Southern Ontario.This home is special to me because when I am there I truly feel relaxed and people who have stayed there have said the same thing. I welcome you to my island and my home to experience it for yourself.

Why they chose this property

I was born on this island and therefore it has strong sentimental value for me. I have traveled all over the world learned about but I can tell you there is no place like Barbados! I make it a point to visit there at least twice a year to recuperate from the stress of normal hustle and bustle of the North American life style. It is a place that when you visit once that you will want to return to again and again because it quickly makes you feel like a part of it.

What makes this property unique

Everything from facilities, restaurants sight seeing tours are nearby and can be arranged for you. Rental car can be arranged or public transit is 25 yards from the front door.Long walks along gorgeous boardwalks and on the world-famous beaches, having a spectacular meal at one of the many nice restaurants, or local eateries,picnicking for the day on the North Coast, experience exotic wild life, taking a evening trip on an island ship with live entertainment and meals, deep sea fishing, horse racing and many other amazing activities. Or stay home and have a backyard BBQ with family and friends, relax with cocktails and just enjoying the Ocean breeze.
