2900 square foot home, with a rental residence of 2100 square feet, including 4 bedrooms 2 and a half baths, which sleeps 10, one room having two single daybeds, each with a trundle bed...perfect for kids.

One of the owners lives fulltime in a 'mother-in-law suite', with a second kitchen, great room, laundry, and bedroom (self contained unit, from rental house) . However, there is a shared entry, wherein both parties access a common front door. This owner can advise guests on best beaches, restaurants, things to do, places to see.

The house is within 1 mile of the historic Fort Frederica and walking distance of a first class horseback riding stable. It is a 10-minute drive from the beautiful beaches of St. Simons Island and a 30-minute drive to Jekyll Island.

This beautifully appointed bright and airy home is tastefully furnished and decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a patio with a grill and comfortable patio furniture.

Park on right side of driveway, or in front of house. My sister-in-law parks her car on the left side of garage. She needs access.

Fantastic Stay

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean, and every attention to detail was considered. The neighborhood is in the northern end of St. Simons, so it was very quiet and peaceful, but there was still easy access to all that St. Simons has to offer. My daughter wasn't feeling well during our stay, so we stayed close to "home," and I'm so grateful that the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, and we will most likely stay again in the future.

WOW!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !

Okay, first of all... the pics didn't do it justice !! The entire family was blown away by this outstanding home... Bonnie was terrific , very friendly and helpful ... the kids enjoyed every inch of the home. It was extremely spacious with plenty of bedding , board games and tvs ! We gathered for a once in a lifetime family get together for a brother in laws graduation before moving to Alaska to be a park ranger The Vrbo was just a short drive from the beach which was also lovely

Home is gorgeous and the owners are very nice and easy to work with. Wine and cookies were welcome after being on the road for so long!

Beautiful home for a get away

I want to start by saying our stay was over all pleasant in this home! The owners were very nice and accommodating. The house itself was very beautiful and nice. I will say beware to the messy Marvin’s of the world that the sofa, chairs, and rug are white in the living room, so you’ll want to be cautious with wine or coffee and kids with snacks. But the sets are comfy and tv nice and large with access to all platforms needed and cable. The beds were all comfy, and rooms and bathrooms clean and nice. The little back yard is very cute and comfy with lots of plants, so you have little cute lizards all around and little tree frogs come out at night. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. We are coffee people and we forgot to ask if there was a normal coffee maker, so instead of settling for the Kurig we used the nice espresso maker on the stove and it made great cups. It was also great having extra chairs in the garage to use on the beach, as well as beach towels, and also all the extra bath towels for in the house. The only thing I would like to fare-warn other renters about is the owner living in the home, and while she was a lovely nice woman, I feel after being there that the description is a bit misleading especially being a VRBO where it’s supposed to be a place to yourself. While TECHNICALLY it is true that it is just a “shared entrance”, they fail to mention once she comes in the front door she will travel through half of the house to get to her door that leads to the upstairs that is down the hall by most of the bedrooms. I know for some this is no problem, but for people looking for a private get away with no interruptions or strangers walking through or a couple’s retreat, this won’t be your place. I do want to note along with this, that when I addressed this matter with the owners they were very accommodating and offered a refund to allow us to find a new place and luckily the live in owner stayed at a friend so we did not have to do that last minute, so they were great. We had a good stay but this won’t be a place for everyone with the current living set up. Also, I highly recommend everyone try the house back riding experience at the stables of Fredrica it is fantastic!
