The Gerlitzen Hut is located in the middle of the Gerlitzen ski and hiking area on the Kanzelhöhe above Lake Ossiach, so to speak a little closer to heaven ...
In the mountain and alpine area of the Gerlitzen, a skiing and hiking paradise awaits you with wonderful views of the mountains and lakes of Central Carinthia, in the midst of untouched nature. You can swim at the nearby Ossiachersee.
In winter you can enjoy a ski holiday here just 100 meters from the ski slope. If there is enough natural snow, the hut can be reached on skis from the slopes.
In summer you are in the middle of the Gerlitzen hiking area, all managed huts are within walking distance. You can comfortably descend to the Ossiachersee with the Kanzelbahn, which is about 400 meters away from the hut.
