Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Vacation in architectural monument (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.
Car parking: Day tickets of CHF 7.00 are available for long-term parking. These can be obtained from the parking machines next to the Kongresshaus on Güterstrasse. Parking is only possible in sector W in the blue parking bays.
Park your bike safely: Biel railway station bike station.
Public transport: From the station, take bus no. 5 or 6 in the direction of Spitalzentrum. Bus stop Mühlebrücke 5 minutes from the house.
Number of persons: 2 (1 double bed)
Garden: There is no garden available. The house is located in the old town of Biel. But it has a beautiful roof terrace (arbour).
WLAN: Is available.
Open: The house can be rented all year round.
