The bright, friendly apartment is located on the first floor of a former rectory.
The house was finished at the end of the 19. Built in the typical combination of timber framing and brick. It is located right next to the (now unused) church, in a spacious garden, which is available for shared use. On the ground floor there is another apartment, which is used exclusively by the family and close friends. The apartment in 1. OG is reached by a staircase, but has no separate lockable front door.
The tranquility and breadth of the landscape invite you to leave the everyday life behind and relax with family and friends for a while.
The apartment has no TV and the cell phone network is so weak that it is worth turning off the smartphone and to devote other things. For example:

The location of the old rectory in Wehningen is fascinating in many ways. Although centrally located in the north of Germany, the area around Wehningen is a place of seclusion. The former borderland on the Elbe is also interesting under other aspects: Although Wehningen is located in Lower Saxony, it was part of the border region of the GDR and the attentive visitor can tell this area much about the history of the German division. The border to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is 5 KM, to Brandenburg 12 KM and to Wendland 6 KM away.
