"Trinity Maid Company has always adhered to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Because we are one of the few cleaning companies on the island that does not subcontract our cleaning and housekeeping staff, we maintain control over our cleaning protocol. We have historically used EcoLab cleaning products, which meet or exceed industry standards of efficacy, and we have worked with our EcoLab vendor to identify specific products in our current inventory that prove especially effective against this viral strain. We also own and operate our own on-sight commercial laundry facility, ensuring all linens are sanitized. In addition, all of our housekeeping staff are equipped with masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. We have mandated that they devote extra time to sanitizing frequently touched areas such as light switches, door handles, television remotes, phones, faucets, and toilet flush levers as recommended by the CDC guidelines on cleaning and disinfecting. The health and safety of our cleaning team is our highest priority. As such, we strictly abide by OSHA Safety and Health Training and Programs."

We have completely remodeled our studio apartment. It is now *the* showcase studio at The Whaler. (Read the glowing reviews from our guests below.) The work was done by Scott Williamson, known as the #1 remodel contractor on Ka'anapali Beach. Some of our pictures were taken by Scott's photographer.

If you know the Whaler, then you know that #1015 is in a great location. It's on the 10th floor on the south side of the north tower, so you're overlooking the courtyard with a terrific view of the ocean and beach. From our private 10th-floor lanai you've got terrific views of the ocean including all of the island of Lanai. Look in the other direction and you've got a great view of the mountains. (There are 12 floors in the building.)

If you don't know the Whaler, you're in for a treat. The Whaler is in the best location on Ka'anapali Beach. Walk out of the building and you're just a few steps away from the beach. (Closer than any other property on Ka'anapali Beach.) Directly next to the property is Whaler's Village with dozens of shops and three excellent beachside restaurants. And because you're staying at the Whaler, you don't have to drive home after dinner.

All linens are provided. Check-out cleaning is included free of charge. Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged for a nominal fee.

A deposit of two nights’ rental is required with your reservation. The balance plus a $350 damage deposit, is due 60 days prior to arrival. The damage deposit is fully refundable upon satisfactory inspection of the unit's condition following your stay. A 60-day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 60 days of the arrival date forfeit the full rent.

Great unit + great location = great vacation!
We spent 5 nights here in late February. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The condo was perfect - exactly as described in the ad, with a comfortable king bed, ultra modern kitchen and bath, clean first-quality linens (and plenty of extra towels), and a wonderful balcony facing the interior courtyard with awesome views of the ocean. We watched the sun set each afternoon from the balcony. We did not cook while we were there, but every possible type of kitchen cookware was available for those who choose to do so. We loved the convenience of having the bathroom sink located outside the tub/toilet room and enjoyed the huge closet with all of its extra coat hangers provided. The location of the condo within the Whaler complex is perfect! We loved being on the 10th floor - great views and no noise from the courtyard, beach, or pool below. The elevators were always quick and since this unit is the closest one to the elevator lobby, it's easy to run back up to the room if you forget something on your way out. The unit is just around the corner from the garbage chute and washer/dryer which makes them very convenient to use. Parking was never a problem - there were spaces available in the underground garage and also in an open lot beside the tennis courts, which is very close to the lobby entrance. All of the staff were very professional and helpful. The bellman was very friendly and took care of our luggage upon arrival. We took advantage of the concierge to book a whale watching tour and a luau and her recommendations were great for both of these. The resort offers complimentary sand chairs for the beach, which worked great for us since we loved relaxing on the beach and watching the whales! The location of The Whaler is great - directly on Kaanapali Beach and adjacent to the Whaler's Village for shopping and restaurants. The paved beach walk that runs in front of the buildings worked well for accessing other properties on Kaanapali - we got our exercise each morning by walking from one end to the other, enjoying the beautiful views along the way. Even with the construction at Whaler's Village, shopping there is not impacted - there are many good stores to choose from. Being only a 10 min. drive from Lahaina is very convenient since there are even more places to shop and dine there. Doug was very responsive with answers to any questions, which made us very confident about our choice of his place to stay. Thanks, Doug!

Love the convenience of this property. The pool & ocean are steps were steps away from our condo. Lots of shade around the pool and free chairs to enjoy at the ocean. I loved being so close to all the restaurants in Whalers village T night and being able to enjoy breakfast & lunch on the scenic lanai of our condo! The grounds are beautiful and tranquil. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to go back again next year.

Whaler Ocean View Studio
If you've stayed at the Whaler before, you know that most of the units are pretty much the same layout, IE studio or one bedroom style. This unit is in better condition than most, and very clean with a great view of both the ocean and the mountains. It was very quiet as well. The unit came well stocked with most things compared to other VRBOs I've used. Of course, the location of the resort is great! I would say, however, that the shining star of this property is the owners. Our trip had been booked prior to the Lahaina fire and not only did the owner communicate what was happening with the unit, but with the entire area as a whole. I felt well informed and that I would not have any issues with my booking. I would not hesitate to stay at their properties again in the future and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great stay!

Our mainland home is in beautiful Marin County, just north of San Francisco, but we try to spend as much time on Maui as we can. Our other apartment (#707 a 1BR/2BA) is our home-away-from-home and we often use #1015 for special guests. We visit 3-4 times every year and we spend most of our time making sure everything in both of our condos is just right for our family and guests.

Why they chose this property

We first stayed at the Whaler on our 15th wedding anniversary. That was 35 years ago in 1986. To us, the Whaler is all about the location. We love that we can walk out of the building and immediately be on the beach. We love that we can sit on the lanai any time between January and April and watch whales. And we love that we can walk home from half a dozen great informal restaurants.

What makes this property unique

The beach is literally 30 paces from the building. We walk on the beach and swim in the ocean every morning. We love walking down to Black Rock, coming back to the middle of the beach, getting free fresh towels, taking a swim, drying off lying on the sand, then heading back to the condo. Every day should begin this way! And every evening should include a Mai Tai made by Johnny at Leilani's, just down the path at Whalers Village.
