I live right next door, so im easy to get a hold of and help if anything is needed.

Its a charming old home located in the Reotown area of Lansing. Its on the Grand river on a small dead end street that stops at a large park. Easy access to the river trail that goes all the way to MSU campus. Campus is a 5 minute drive away. I have re-done the old hard wood floors and tried to keep everything original. I did install central air, new water heater and furnace. I have a nice full bathroom upstairs and a small half bathroom in the basement area with 2 extra beds. For being right in the middle of the city, its very peaceful and quiet with wonderful sunrises and sunsets over the river. Very good fishing, and kayaking. I have some bikes to use. A great little area with pubs and really good food. Nice people on the street, we all know eachother and are friendly.

Quiet neighborhood tucked away by the river

This property was as I expected, based on the listing of "100 yr. old property on the river". The home is old but well cared for and was located just 10 mins from MSU's campus and easily accessed by Uber as well. We made meals in the well-stocked kitchen and walked a few blocks for a great cup of coffee in ReoTown. The owner was very responsive and helpful, even offering a late check-out if we needed it. I would definitely stay here again if Lansing or East Lansing are my destinations.

Perfect place

We went to visit our grandaughter for her birthday. The proximity to our granddaughters was perfect. We will be back for her sister’s birthday soon and would love to stay here again. The park that our granddaughters play at regularly was just steps away from the property. If we get to come when the river isn’t icy, I’d love to stay longer and do some fishing and kayaking as well.

Spacious and Convenient

Great experience. Its an older home with lots of charm. We enjoyed the house and all the ammenities. Shawn was a thoughtful and communicative host, right next door. Easy to get to, worked well for us. Would like to return in the summer months to use the river.

Felt very at home here

We were in town for court, and this was located about 5 minutes away. We felt very comfortable here, and Shawn couldn’t have been more accommodating or helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.
