If you're coming to Austin, you need to check us out. Peak Lookout is special! Our home is very open and bright with incredible views. An entertaining haven! We are close to all the activities but you have a very private feel. Not to mention your very own exclusive pool & hot tub. Many dining options within 5 minutes. At night you can see all the lake Travis city lights. The home sits on one of the highest points in Travis county & on clear days you can see for miles. Especially from the second story balcony. Our home has 2 very private and separate suites, one on the main level and one upstairs with its own small sitting area. Please reach out to us with any questions about our home or the area. A 40th bday party to remember

The pictures of this place are wonderful, but walking into it is breathtaking. In planning my wife's 40th birthday, I messaged the owners about having 16 people over one night with a private chef (a big party for us), and they gave us permission and whatever help we needed. We kept the guests staying there to the 9 required by the agreement, and there was more than enough room. We ended up having the party on the patio by the pool as the weather was so pleasant. It was a clear night and we had a great view of the valley below, which was very peaceful and quiet. The place was just as excellent as described, perched on a hill overlooking a valley, very clean, open-floor plan, great for entertaining. Beautiful master bedroom with a large bathroom and walk-in shower and separate bathtub. There were two huge walk-in closets with plenty of linens. The pool was just what we needed, and the hot-tub was perfect for hanging out in the evenings, easy to operate. We really appreciated getting to have our party there, and we appreciated how easy the owners were to work with. We would stay here again.

Amazing home

We had such a great time and the property is beautiful, Everything you need is right there. It’s a very well maintained home, the hot tub was awesome, we spent most of our time in the backyard and you will want to too! The owners were easy to get a hold of, quick to respond and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place

Perfect Girls Trip

This home was perfect for our long weekend girls trip! The cleanliness, amount of space, abundance of bathrooms, and absolutely stunning outdoor space was amazing for us! The location is ideal as it sit right between downtown, the wineries, and lake Travis! 10/10 recommend

Amazing pool!

Our family of five enjoyed a weekend getaway to relax and have fun before the start of the school year. Our kids did not leave the pool the entire weekend. The patio, pool, spa, and view were all incredible! Communication with Gene was easy. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to many stores and restaurants. No problems whatsoever. We had a wonderful stay.

Abby and I moved to Austin in 1995. We raised 2 wonderful children in this lake and hill country area. Lake Travis is special. We love to boat and wakesurf. We are both realtors and know Austin very well. We have been married for 31 yrs but have been dating / best friends since we were 14. We love the outdoors especially being on the water. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Peak Lookout is a little hidden gem in the Lake Travis area. We are situated on one of the highest elevations in the county. This makes for some really nice views. It also make for some really nice breezes which are very welcoming in the Hot Texas summers. You can sit on the back covered porch overlooking the pool and the city and just relax. Its a great place for a quick nap, theres just something about the breeze that's soothes you. Take a dip in the sparkling pool. Its so refreshing on those hot Texas days. We have a remote feel but are very close to all Lake Travis has to offer. We have lots of parking. Close to golf, tennis, pickle ball, restaurants, shops, boating, hiking, biking and only 35 min to downtown Austin.

What makes this property unique

We have two very nice private suites. One on the main level and one upstairs. If you're traveling with two couples you would have a hard time finding a better setup. The house is really made for entertaining and relaxation. Many areas to sit and be quiet or hang out with your family and friends. We also have the detached cabana. Great to have a bathroom so close to the pool and a nice private place to sleep a few more friends and family. The outdoor covered patio is big. Sit and watch the pool activities or hang out and watch the occasional storm roll in. Its really a wonderful spot.
