Okay place
My biggest concern with this property was the safety. My first impression walking up to the front door was that it looked as if it had been jimmied opened before. The front door also only had a dead bolt..no knob lock. The master bedroom has a door that leads to the exterior which has a deadbolt and a locking knob (which was broken).
Location & neighborhood: 2 stars because the location was very close to Atlantic Avenue which had all the restaurants/activities you would need to fill your time up. The Freebee ride accommodations is within the radius so it was convenient and very easy to use-just downloaded the app and a enclosed golf cart picks you up..very easy with minimal wait time whenever we needed a ride to/from that area. As far as the neighborhood- I generally did not feel safe. Lots of people sitting on porch steps and I felt like my coming and going was being watched. So much so that anytime I left I packed any jewelry of value with me whenever we went out. I am not from the area me actually messaged the owners about the safety when a family member mentioned it may be a questionable are. The property owner assured me it was in a good area that they had stayed themselves without issue. However-my brother referred to it as “rehab row” and had I not had my brother with me I wouldn’t have stayed there alone.
As far as cleanliness-I felt like the linens/towels provided were clean and fresh. The trim/walls were noticeably dingy looking.
