Private guest suite attached to the main home with separate entrance. Everything is done in high end finishes! You will enjoy an incredibly comfortable king sized bed, super soft sheets and pillows, Wifi, Roku, your own bathroom fit for a king... finished in marble. Parking is private off the street behind the home steps from your door. HVAC for your comfort, games, magazines and a Keurig machine. Feel free to use the back patio space where you can relax with a hot coffee or tea. Enjoy :-)
The space
Our hope is you will feel right at home in your own room with private bath. There is space designated for you to park in the driveway right at your front door. Once you enter you will see that comfort was our goal. Plush area rug with 2 cozy chairs and a reading lamp for you to get lost in a good book. Use the Keurig to make yourself a hot cup of coffee or cocoa... and just relax :-)
Or if you prefer just sit back and watch a marathon of your favorite show. You can even pull the 50" 4k TV from the wall on its pivoting wall mount and face it towards the bed so you can watch from there!
Our neighborhood is older with many Victorian, Colonial and Tudor style homes in the well known Eastover community of Charlotte. We are centrally located and only a 5 minute ride to center city Uptown. Surrounded by older homes and large oak tree lined streets, go out for a jog or a nice walk. You will love the scenery. The neighborhood right behind us has some of the prettiest architecture in the city! And the famous Freedom Park is not even a mile away. Go to one of many Charlotte breweries in the Southend neighborhood (only 2 miles away), or the well known NoDa district (maybe 3 miles from here). Whichever you choose, you will not run out of things to do... but if you do... at least you know you can always head home to the well appointed suite we have made just for you :-)
Guest access
Your room and bathroom are private. They will not have access to the main house, but it is part of the house so please keep in mind that we are all under the same roof... please be respectful. We promise to be as well. We want you to enjoy your stay and feel comfortable... We ask that you please remove your shoes while in the room.
Other things to note
We designed this room to a very high standard and hope to have guests who can appreciate the level of quality we put forth. Please understand our expectations during your stay... Keep it clean please... thats all we ask thanks!
Also, please be aware, we have a Labradoodle Teddy who is very friendly and you may hear him bark on your arrival but he does not come into your space. You will also see him outside from time to time... he'll definitely come up to you and say hello if you are around. And then there is Baileys our cat... he, just like Teddy, will have no access to your space... but if you are someone who is sensitive to cat dander we just want to let you know they are here.
