Great Place for Skiers/Boarders
The location was perfect if you are going to Bear Mountain! Just a short walk to the resort. Great place to crash after a long day on the mountain.

Expectation versus reality
Hair and dried toothpaste in the sink, dried urine under the toilet seat, and 5 spiders in the tub with a plethora of webs surrounding them. When was this property last cleaned? If you are planning a trip here in the winter, don't expect to park near the front door. The cabin is tucked away down a steep slope. You will not be able to traverse the incline should there be any inclement weather. It is unfortunate to have paid extra for anticipated quality, as this stay certainly was not worth the price of admission.

Felt like camping.
Feeling like you're glamping while actually in a cabin is NOT a good thing. The heater only heats the few feet that surrounds the wall unit in the living room, so be prepared to dress warm, since it feels like you're outside. If you treasure electricity or need light to get around in the pitch black darkness of the cabin, then please do not plug in the two small heaters on the bedrooms because it pops the breaker. Flashes of every scary movie popped into my head each time that happened, and my husband had to step outside in the cold (not much colder outside than it was inside) to flip the breaker. If you were thinking the fire would gove off a soft glow and heat, I thought so too, except be sure to bring wood with you, because nothing is supplied for you. Not even a nice hot cup of coffee. Even a crummy motel leaves coffee for you. And don't forget to grab some trashbag, unless throwing things into a pile in the corner is your thing. Do you like waiting to use the bathroom, look no further! The toilet runs for so long, you may as well become one with mother nature. It'll be faster and you won't get a bladder infection. Are you a climber? Great! The master bedroom bed is about 4 feet high, be sure to enjoy climbing in every night, but don't hit your leg on the sidetables, because those TV trays can buckle at the drop of a pin. Want to play a board game with the family? Cool... bring your own. Should you have any issues, Vacasa customer service was at It's finest. Everyone knew nothing and offered nothing. Listen, don't let me sell you on this dream getaway. Let the 4pm check in and 10am check out convince you. Enjoy!
