Awesome Property / Manageable House
We had a very nice long weekend here with teenagers. The beds were comfortable and the land was great for exploring! The kids enjoyed the endless pool. The showers had great pressure and the whirlpool was enjoyed by most - by it was a tub, not a hot tub. The kitchen, while manageable, could use some additions including spatulas, scrappers, cookie sheets - some items one might consider a staple. More practicable dinnerware and cups/glasses might be worth providing. We "figured" out how to work the oven using the knobs on the upper right hand side, and still had to watch everything closely. The chairs and sofa upstairs, while stylish, were not comfortable. We'd also recommend a TV in one of the bedrooms, and maybe labeling the light switches as there are many of them. Would recommend a household manual for directions on using kitchen appliances and the endless pool cover, etc. Check-in was smooth and communication was responded to quickly when we initiated. It snowed the night before we left and the driveway was not clear by check-out time with no communication, and we almost didn't make it back up the driveway. The house was easy to get to and tucked back in on the beautiful property so we saw deer, turkey, and even an eagle.

Great getaway
This was a perfect place for a bit of a getaway for some of the kids and grandkids to spend time with us. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. The setting of the home was particularly lovely. It was so peaceful yet had lots of outdoor room for active sports and games. We even took some family photos under an enormous spreading oak tree. We enjoyed seeing deer in the early morning along with a few wild turkeys. I can't imagine a better time than what we had here.

Midcentury Modern interior is one of a kind in a most unlikely location
Family stayed for a long weekend and they loved it. Interior original designs, furniture, layout. Fantastic. Pool table in the basement rumpus room was fun for all. We did have some difficulty figuring out the gourmet stove but we finally got it. Highly recommend for a one-of a kind stay/getaway, its a treat.

Great place for family gathering.
Family from Mn and WI all met at this delightful house. It was just the right size for all of us. All the extras made it work for a variety of ages. Nice space, big kitchen. Definitely recommended.

A beautiful property in all respects, and well suited for two people or a larger group. Tyler is welcoming and responsive while respecting the solitude the area offers.

We are Tyler and Becca, a newly married couple living our dream running a 200 acre ranch in the most beautiful area of Minnesota. Becca is a full time horse trainer and Tyler works by trade as an electrical lineworker and on the ranch runs a cattle operation consisting of 200 head of black angus and wagyu cattle. Our small town roots instilled both of us with a love for animals.

Why they chose this property

Living in Chatfield most of my life, We have always admired the property and always hoped to own one like it someday, as fate would have it, the exact place we dreamed about became available at exactly the right time! We fell in love with it as soon as we had our feet on the soil. The ranch offers everything we would need to support both of our dreams and even a few extras! We became the owners of our very dream a week before our wedding and hit the ground running.

We feel so blessed to own this piece of gods country and are excited to share it with you!

What makes this property unique

The house lies in a gorgeous valley surrounded by trees and open meadows where cattle and horses graze. The entire south wall of the main level of the home is all patio doors and windows to prevent any obstruction to the canvas that Mother Nature has painted! Wake undisturbed in the morning to the peaceful trickle of the streams in the back yard, and watch wildlife and livestock frolic about while sitting on the deck over a fresh ground cup of coffee. Venture up the hill to see the horses being exercised, or hike the trails through the woods. Walk out the basement, through the garden, and down to the creek to catch a trout! Run out of things to do on the ranch? No worries! We are centrally located for an abundance of activities! Some nearby small town attractions include: ATV trails, Caves, bike trails, Canoe/tube/kayak the root river, golf courses, eagle cliff nature center, zoo, public pools/water parks, shopping/boutiques, wineries, breweries, Amish tours, horseback riding parks, state parks, and more! All that before you make it into med city (Rochester)! Where you will find so many more activities for the whole family!
