Duboce Triangle Stay
Nice place to stay, location is superb!
Loved staying here, want to return asap!
Great Location in SF
We throughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in San Francisco. The information provided by our hosts was very helpful.
Best in the Castro!
We love staying at this location. We have stayed here many times before and are always amazed at the value of the property. Close to the Catstro, Muni, great restaurants, and tons of entertainment - you simply cannot beat this property. And the owners are super helpful. We really enjoy staying here and look forward to doing so again in the future.
Cozy studio in a real San Francisco neighborhood
This cozy studio is in a neighborhood with the real feel of San Francisco, in Duboce Triangle. The apartment is less than a 5-minute walk from the Castro Theater and the Castro Muni Station. It’s uphill from the station but this is San Francisco! It’s easy to explore the city using nearby public transportation.
I chose the apartment partly because I am familiar with this lovely and safe neighborhood. For those who don’t know the neighborhood Laurence, the host, has compiled a comprehensive book with helpful tips and maps showing everything from local restaurants and stores to citywide attractions.
Check-in was easy and Laurence was available by cell phone to answer questions and otherwise assist (he and his partner live upstairs).
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a whirlpool tub and a heated towel rack. There is fast WiFi and many channels of cable TV.
The apartment doesn’t have great natural light but I didn’t mind because I was out and about during daylight hours.
I’d be very happy to stay here next time I visit San Francisco!
Located on a Magnolia tree lined residential street just north of San Francisco's famous Castro District. This quiet residential neighborhood is safe and walkable with nice restaurants and shops. And across Market Street is the historic Castro Street theater, restaurants, bars and shops. One block away is our weekly Farmer's Market (seasonal). Located within blocks of ALL San Francisco MUNI light rail lines and the historic F line which features historic street cars from around the world and is a fantastic way to travel to Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf and more. You won't need a car! See the map - look how many parks are located nearby. Hike? Play tennis? There are a number of tennis courts nearby - play tennis surrounded by redwoods and views of the Golden Gate and San Francisco Bay. Or walk a few blocks down 16th Street to Mission Dolores which is where San Francisco was founded. VIsit the historic wooden church which still holds services in German. Dine outside and enjoy the California sun.
