Welcome to Summer Haus! Whether you're coming to Smith Lake to play or relax and take in the beautiful view, this stunning 5-bedroom home has plenty to offer. Only 8 minutes from I65 Good Hope exit 305 and 12 minutes to shopping and dining.
With 5 bedrooms, two living areas, a large deck, covered patio, firepit area, and its own PRIVATE dock complete with swim platform, water slide, Ski Doo Dock, and two available boat slips, you'll have all that you need for a little R and R on the water. The home was updated with all new furniture / mattresses / linens in fall of 2022-2023 and sleeps 16 in beds. Our home has a double garage and paved driveway which can easily accommodate 5 cars with additional parking across the street.
A fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, a stocked coffee/wine bar, and gas grill located on the upper deck allows for large family meals with dining room seating, bar seating, and an eat-in kitchen table. 4 smart TVs (including 2 75" monsters!) are in the home ready for any of your streaming services. Come in and cool off in the game room with large screen TV, lighted dart board, and a foosball table. Enjoy plenty of outdoor seating on both levels as well as a patio dining set on the dock.
Don't forget to rent a boat as soon as you book!
Minimum age to book - 25 years old (Photo ID required prior to check in). NO SMOKING. NO PETS (unauthorized pet fee applies). There are 4 operational security cameras located at the front and back entrances of the home. The cameras are facing the driveway and outdoor stairs and are actively recording video, not audio, 24/7 during your stay. The cameras are not monitored. There are no cameras inside the home, nor do they point to inside the home. We take your safety as well as your privacy very seriously.

Most Relaxing Vacation Ever

We so enjoyed our stay at your place, This was the most relaxing time that was much needed. It was the perfect place for our family of 10. Lots of room to do "your own thing" if needed. We really enjoyed the game room and just sitting outside. We have never had such a wonderful host as La Tonya. She went way beyond what was expected. We plan to visit again! Tammy

Wonderful home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked October 25th- 29th for our restaurant’s annual business meeting. It was a beautiful well kept home. Much to do at the dock, the fire pit quaint and comfortable. One of the things I loved about it was it was so adequately stocked. It was a huge blessing to have enough toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, and even laundry detergent. Then there were bonus extras such as a treat basket, water bottles, Cokes in the refridge, and a fully stocked coffee bar with the fixins. The communication was quick and honest. I thought it was sweet that LaTonya let us have a little longer time to load up and not to rush to check out. It kept us from being stressed at our departure. This rental felt like home away from home. We have already started discussing our meeting dates to book here for next year. Thank you!

My husband and I bought this beautiful property with retirement in mind. Until then.....we want to share it with you! We have lived in Cullman all our lives and owning a lake home on beautiful Smith Lake has been a dream for years. We took the plunge in 2022 and spent 7 months remodeling and updating. We hope you enjoy our little piece of paradise as much as we do!

Convenience played a major part in our choosing this home. Located just under 10 minutes from the interstate and 12 minutes from major shopping and dining, makes our home ideal for that quick get-a-away. With year-round deep water and the coolest dock ever, we believe you will love our home as much as we do!

A double-decker dock, water slide, and lots of fun water toys makes this location an adventure. Settle in for some quiet reading after a fun day on either of the 2 decks and watch the sun go down.
