Parrita has all the stores and amenities you will need, banks, dentist, doctors, groceries, everything. Parrita is known for the popular festivity called "Festival de las Mulas' in February, it includes parades, concerts, exhibitions, bullfighting and the traditional race of mules.

Macaws and monkeys visit the quiet no thru street frequently, at the end is a Palm tree farm where you can watch the monkeys in the trees.

Pets - Polite traveling fur babies are also welcome here, as the yard is completely fenced..

This home makes a great home base as it's very central to many areas on the Pacific coast, all within 40 minutes of the property on good driving roads. No 4x4 needed.
Visit the neighboring towns & beaches by car or public bus with
Playa Jaco 40 mins, Esterillos Oeste 20 mins,
Bejuco 15 mins, Quepos 20 mins, Manuel Antonio National Park 35 mins away .
The nearest beach is 10 mins away, but there are many worth visiting along the coast.
Other destinations / attractions for nature loving tourists include the Damas Estuary Mangrove, home to a wide variety of animals. The Parrita river for white water rafting, Sport fishing for tuna, marlin and more, Quepos is great for cruises and festivals,
