Beautiful and peaceful y get away!
The property is stunning! My wife and daughter stayed for the holidays and enjoyed every tranquil moment.
Great spot for overflow guests.
I rented Giuli's house for cousins who were visiting for a family reunion. They very much enjoyed staying there, especially relaxing with their morning coffee on the back terrace.
Another AMAZINGLY RELAXING week in Clinton Corners!
This is the second summer I've come and spent a week at this beautiful property with my family. This year was even better than last. It's a gorgeous and comfortable home to relax and unwind, and there's so many beautiful places to visit nearby. Thank you Giuli!
Bucolic setting away from the crowds
Giuli's property itself is magnificent with a gorgeous sweep of lawn and open field acreage out back down to the tree line in the distance. There is lots of space and there are many trees so birds are abundant and the place is set back quite deeply from a very quiet road so using the large decks out front or in the back is delightful.
There are two Adirondack chairs on the back deck; it would be nice to have another couple of chairs or a chaise out there with a small table on which to rest e.g. a coffee cup. But not a big deal.
The house has a great flow with two bedroom suites, one at the end of each hall to the left and right from the living room (in the center of the house, overlooking the back property). Thus for two couples, or two individuals, there is plenty of privacy. The living room is ample with lots of comfortable furniture and we loved the photographs and other artwork which bespoke an interesting life! The kitchen is large and well-furnished. The large farm-style sink has no real tilt so it doesn't drain very well but otherwise worked fine. Many plants indoors were lovely but had gone unwatered which perhaps explained many dry leaves on the floor beneath them but we quickly swept these up with no difficulty. We had no need to contact the local property manager while we were there. We met up with friends who live in Poughkeepsie on each of three days and it took about 20 min to drive there, along lovely country roads. It was well worth the drive to be able to return to this idyllic spot and we would stay here again without any reservations. Giuli was very helpful with quick email responses while we were making arrangements . She was not in town while we were there but we could have contacted her if we had wanted to.
In summary, a perfect place for those who enjoy solitude, open spaces, the sound of the wind and a rich cultural esthetic provided by a well-traveled host!

Lovely home in quiet location with easy access to Taconic
We were greeted by nine deer in the pasture viewed from the living room window on arrival and by 33 Wild Turkeys in the morning. Quite amazing. The house is clearly a lovely home and well-kept. The art is very special. It was just right with bedrooms to retreat to and a large shared space for conversation, eating, and cooking. With the very low temperatures and snow, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor terraces and they looked inviting nevertheless. Highly recommend its comfort.
