Sadly, the property owner never communicated with us, though we sent multiple messages through the vrbo system, sent text messages by phone and left voice messages. We would have loved to stay at the property. Sadly, we were never given that chance. Vrbo also tried to contact the property owner to no avail. Our money was refunded. We stayed a a Holiday Inn Express instead. Since we had to wait until the day of check-in to process our complaint with vrbo, it made for a very stressful trip. We're grateful for the support vrbo provided.
