Last night in Richmond

I appreciated that Jazmen allowed us to check in several hours early. She was very gracious about that. The beds we’re comfortable and clean. The toilet in one bathroom did not flush and the plumber had been called. The kitchen was not well appointed. A coffee pot is needed rather than just the coffee pods. A cutting board could not be found nor a sharp pairing knife only a large knife. For one night or two it was fine.

owner cancelled without notice less than three hours before check in

I did not stay at this property. My reservation was cancelled by the owner without explanation or apology just three hours before check in. I was already in the neighborhood. VRBO also did nothing to help me rebook. Am still (three days) now waiting on the owner to provide an explanation and for VRBO to help me

A scam

Sadly, the property owner never communicated with us, though we sent multiple messages through the vrbo system, sent text messages by phone and left voice messages. We would have loved to stay at the property. Sadly, we were never given that chance. Vrbo also tried to contact the property owner to no avail. Our money was refunded. We stayed a a Holiday Inn Express instead. Since we had to wait until the day of check-in to process our complaint with vrbo, it made for a very stressful trip. We're grateful for the support vrbo provided.

Thanksgiving in Richmond

This location was perfect for my family to visit for thanksgiving. We were only 0.5 miles from my aunts house near Byrd park. Cary street provided restaurants and shops within walking distance. The parks and maymont were beautiful and accessible for my morning runs. Parking was easy and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again.
