Welcome to your home away from home, the Mountain Porch! Our spacious, family home is located in a quiet neighborhood located in Woodland Park, with unobstructed mountain views for miles. Get a good night's sleep in comfortable beds, cook with your family in the fully stocked kitchen, make memories around a board game, or snuggle up with a book in the hammock or on the sofa. Behind our home is a park with a bike track and skate park and there is a secret access point from our backyard.

Hey! We are Heather & Soren!
We have been married since 2015 and live in Las Vegas, NV with our two pups Mars & Brut.

We own and operate a small engineering firm that designs mechanical, plumbing and electrical building systems. We both serve on a Board of Directors for different non-profit organizations.

In our free time we love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and drink great wine and bourbon. We enjoy live sporting events and concerts. Soren is an avid golfer and snowboarder. Heather enjoys reading magazines, hiking and planning the next adventure.

Why they chose this property

Together, we enjoy the planning and execution of home improvement projects. In fact, we spent a week alongside our general contractor and family to bring you the updated Mountain Porch.

The Mountain Porch is our first short term rental property. Soren's parents retired to the Springs and we wanted a mountain home close enough to them for when we come to visit.

We hope you enjoy your time here in Woodland Park and hope we may host you again!

What makes this property unique

The mountain views really sold us on this property. The backyard is big enough for our pups to roam around but, also for a game of football or soccer. Sitting in the hot tub at night allows for incredible stargazing opportunities. The area is surrounded by so many different types of outdoor adventures within minutes from our front door.
