This property was not ready to rent. The owners personal things were left for us to put away. Stained carpets. The property was dated and dirty; it was stocked insufficiently for two people. My husband and I stayed for 3 months. When we arrived, the floor was dirty, the shower curtain had mould on it, the cupboards inside were dirty and the windows were filthy. The deck boards on the patio were rotting with no seating or table on the deck. The bed had storm boards underneath the mattress that we needed to remove to ensure a good nights sleep. My husband fixed the fridge handle. The AC stopped working and needed to be fixed. The landlord promptly dealt with this issue. The drain clogged in the kitchen; we called the landlord and this wasn’t dealt with until the third day after connecting with him again. The plumber attended; however we needed to wait for him to finish before we could leave; we dealt with the issue. The apartment does come with a washer and dryer; however the dryer is very slow. The kitchen is not very well equipped lacking plates and a kettle. There is no dishwasher. Great location close to everything; however be prepared to hear Highway #1 as it is very close. Also the stench of marijuana is a regular evening occurrence. There is a nice park close by to walk which was nice. Overall property grounds was well maintained with a pool which was nice. Unfortunately, there is limited value for the money with this property.
