About this property
BIGFOOT’S ENCHANTING TREEHOUSE
You’re sure to remember your stay at Bigfoot’s Treehouse. It’s the perfect place for friends and families to get away from the daily hustle & bustle of life.
You'll love being completely surrounded by nature without having to sacrifice the comforts of home. Reserve your stay today and get ready to create lasting memories with Bigfoot at this unique treehouse.
Bigfoot's Treehouse is about 50 yards (west) from the Hummingbird Treehouse. Each treehouse has their own parking and camp area.
You'll enjoy relaxing on the balcony as you listen to the sounds of nature and watch the sun set through the woods.
Just below Bigfoot’s Treehouse is an outdoor recreation area with outdoor benches, a Fire-ring, 2 picnic tables, swings, hammocks, horseshoes, corn-hole, giant jenga, and a nature trail where Bigfoot and friends have been spotted.
When you first walk into the treehouse, you'll enter into the common area where we have a full size futon with extra bedding (sleeps 2). Also in the common room is a deep sink, a small refrigerator, cooking essentials (pots, pans, mixing bowls, plates, cups, silverware, coffee maker, etc.).
The main bedroom, located just off of the common area on the main floor, has a queen size bed. In the 2nd bedroom, located upstairs, there is a bunk bed with a twin over a full.
Most people want to know if there is a functioning bathroom inside the treehouse. The answer is, yes! The treehouse has a full bathroom complete with a toilet, sink, and a walk-in shower.
Guests have access to their own parking and camping area. The camping area includes a picnic table, fire-pit, charcoal grill, hammocks, swings, outdoor games, and a nature trail. There is a 110' cedar ramp from the parking lot to this treehouse.
Guests are provided with:
~firewood
~charcoal
~lighter fluid
Because the treehouse is in a fairly remote locations, we can arrange to have someone meet you at Braum's in Eufaula. They will lead you out there.
If you would prefer to venture out on your own, you may request a map link that we can send to you on the morning of your arrival.
Either way is fine with us.
The Treesort is located at the end of county roads and surrounded by trees, making you feel as if you are in a very remote area although you are only 8 miles from town. Be prepared to see and hear some wildlife. There are lots of squirrels, birds, raccoons, armadillos, and deer.
There is another treehouse located on the property that is approximately 50 ft. away.
There is free parking at the treehouse. Bigfoot's treehouse is 8 miles from Eufaula, OK, 140 miles east (2.5 hours) of Will Rogers Airport in OKC, 90 miles south (1.5 hours) of Tulsa International Airport, and 210 miles north (3.2 hours) of DFW.
~It is likely that guests may encounter some critters who live in the area such as: squirrels, birds, possums, deer, raccoons, armadillos, snakes, and possibly even Bigfoot!
~The treehouse can and will sway with the wind.
~Your journey to the treehouse will include driving on a gravel road part of the way.
~Enjoy an unplugged stay as we do not have WIFI.
~Cell phone service can be spotty...depending on your provider. AT&T and US Cellular seem to have the best service in this area.
You are renting the use of the Treehouse and immediate grounds. Please maintain the cleanliness and leave the place as clean as it was when you arrived. Place your cigarette butts in the fire-ring or trash can. Do not throw anything into the wash/ditches as this brings critters around for a meal... Do not cut trees or pick up branches on our property... the branches in the ditches are there to slow the rain run off to benefit our trees.
