About this property

This top level 3-bedroom condominium is located in the Indian Summer Condos complex of Ocean Sands in Section F. It has access to a community pool and a short walk to the beach is approximately 500 feet away on a wooden boardwalk. It is close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and other fun activities in Corolla such as mini-golf, watersports, the Corolla Adventure Park (climbing & ax throwing), wild house tours, and the Historic Corolla Park featuring the Currituck Club Lighthouse. [Note: No dogs or other animals allowed in this condo.]

Beautiful wood paneling provides a cozy and timeless feeling with its beach cottage decor. The Living area has a large flat-screen TV and comfortable seating for all family members. The sofa can be converted into a Queen sleep sofa if an extra bed is needed. The Dining area seats 6 and the updated Kitchen has new appliances and engineered-stone counter tops with a Kitchen Bar that can seat 2.

There are three bedrooms: King Master Suite has a flat-screen TV with streaming options and a private bath (not pictured). The Queen bedroom shares a hall bath (shower/tub combo). The third bedroom has 2 Twin Beds.

A large community pool (open Memorial Day weekend through late September) is within a short distance of the front door so look no further for your beach vacation in a prime location with plenty of local restaurants and shopping opportunities to choose from during the summertime!

Fantastic getaway

We spent the entire week here and it was absolutely amazing. The condo was perfectly sized for myself and 3 young adult children, and fully equipped as stated when booking the place. It was exactly as shown on the website. It wasnt far from the beach, just a little 3 to 5 minute stroll, which was perfect. Overall very pleased with the location and the rental. The only thing i wish was a little different would be the check in time. I fully understand the housekeepers need time to get it ready, however it was ready hours before 4pm. We arrived 4 hours early and had to wait around, which is absolutely no ones fault but our own, it was planned that way. My suggestion would be if the rental is ready early, to alert the renter and give the option for an earlier check in with a small fee of 50$ or so. Just an idea. Thanks for a great stay. Will definitely be visiting again next year!!!

Into the mystic

I was very disappointed after walking in for the first time into the apartment and seeing how DIRTY the place was. My kids have the habit of taking their shoes off when coming inside and to my and their surprise the floor was FILHTY. Their feet turned immediately black and sandy after unloading their stuff in their bedroom. We were very tired after driving all day so I couldn’t do much that night. Next day after checking the place up we discovered more dust and dirt in most places (blinds had a thick layer that flew everywhere after opening them up). I know how hard it is to keep sand away when staying at the beach, but even the sheets were sandy in our beds. It’s very upsetting when you rent a place and there’s a hefty cleaning fee but the place is so dirty as it was never cleaned up before the new renters arrive. I feel like I should have been reimbursed of this cleaning fee. I tried contacting the office but never heard back. My 75 year old mom and I had to use the very dirty and barely working vacuum they had in the closet and towels to mop and dust. The location is great, but going over the dunes with all the beach stuff was quite the work out and tough on my senior parents. That should be detailed on the apartment description. Overall it was a good stay, just wished the place was cleaner so we wouldn’t have to spend an entire day making the place less uncomfortable to live for a week.
