Worst property owner I’ve experienced with VRBO- wanted to throw free days at us… stay was subpar.

Worst stay with VRBO- we stayed in this complex several times- this is the worst unit ever- Feels like a college bachelor pad. Advertised tvs in bedrooms- none are hooked up in bedrooms- no cable/ no Roku in bedrooms- unable to watch. . Keyless entry advertised- no keyless entry- damaged per owner -we had 1 key—- hole in door - nickel size- could see through it. When we questioned this owner he said the season started and he didn’t get time to repair. We booked in the winter- it’s August. He had no one in the week before we arrived. The shower rod was rusted. Table/ countertops were sticky, crumbs ( lots). Crumbs ( lots) in sofa and sofa/pillow badly stained. Sliding glass door was off track, had to put it back on track every time and is very difficult to lock. Picture frame hooks all over walls with nothing on them. TV bracket on wall with no tv hung. Toilet had difficulty flushing a lot and the other kept running. Kitchen has very minimal items- very hard to cook. No hot pads. Beach chairs are rusted and small- looks like child size. The owner offered 2 additional days at no cost bc of the issues- we couldn’t stay any longer( kids start school and my husband and I work). I asked for $300 to be returned to us ( we paid considerably more than $150 per night). His response was let the chips fall where they may fall-here is your BAD Review. Don’t rent this condo.

It was awesome beach was in walking distance, swimming pool access at bottom of stairs.

It was very peaceful,the people were very nice and friendly treated our grandchildren like their own . Had access to a LOT OF RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING PLACES.And also had plenty for the children to do .It was really a enjoyable time 😄.WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK

All we needed

This condo is a very short bike ride from the beach, right next to one of two pools the property, and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. The owner was a great communicator and we had no issues at all. Very affordable for all of the amenities of the property.

Why they chose this property

We wanted to start something in Travel and Hospitality Industry. So when we visited Hilton Head Island one weekend, we fell in love in with the beach town. We contacted an agent who showed us this property which reminded us of an apartment we lived in Paris, France. So we call this unit Paris style condo. Needless to say we bought it instantly and offering it to our guests as a short term rental.
