Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Stylish flat with great location and views
Pluses:
Great neighborhood, bright, comfortable, roomy property, high floor, contemporary design, good bed.
Semiprivate elevator, second half-bath, and combo washer/dryer were nice extras.
Generally prompt communication with the property manager (PM) during our stay.
Helpful, pleasant staff at front desk.
Reasonably quiet block, but note all rooms face the street, with car alarms a regular occurrence. Still, got good sleep most nights.
Minuses:
We prepaid the PM for airport pickup on arrival, and their driver forgot to come get us. :(
For our one-week stay, they gave us only 1 hand and no face (washcloth) towels in each bathroom for "free." They asked us to pay $15 USD for extra towels.
They did not provide the light blanket we requested in place of the heavy comforter that came with the bed.
Utility kitchen had the basics, but not fully equipped for cooking whole meals.
Within a couple of days, the cheap plastic toilet seat and cover in our main bathroom fell apart.
The body wash and shampoo supplied in the shower hadn't been filled before our check-in, and they ran out within a couple of days.
No instructions for using the TV or the combo washer/dryer, and we wound up air-drying our laundry instead.
No guide book in the apt with comprehensive guest information, which we usually find at the VRBO properties where we've stayed in the past.
On balance, we're glad we stayed, but we would consider other options for our next visit to Bogotá.
