Nice secluded cabin close to attractions
A very nice and very secluded cabin, pleanty of room for our family. Only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Very quiet, lots of trees, no neighbors in sight.
Very enjoyable time in the mountains!
The cabin was everything the listing said and more! We had a wonderful stay with family and the cabin met our very need. The hot tub was very relaxing! We especially liked having a bedroom on every floor which gave each couple some privacy. The owner was responsive! The location was convenient to get to some of the popular local attractions! Would definitely stay here again!
Our cabin stay
The hot tub did not appear to have been cleaned. It had a film on top and when the jets were turned on soap bubbles cane to the top. The water felt slimy. I alerted the lender only to make her aware of the issue and i felt personally attacked. If i was the owner of this cabin i would have wanted to know. This was worse.
I was VERY respectful to Susan as I am to all our guests. “Several days” into her stay she emailed me instead of calling me. I immediately called her in response to her email informing me about the hot tub. I asked her to send me a picture. Like many pictures, I couldn’t see clearly what she saw. That really didn’t matter because I told her I would send someone up! (Susan and her group were checking out in the morning) She said don’t, as they’re not going to use it anyway! I also called housekeeping immediately and discussed this with them. Housekeeping called her to let her know that it was in fact emptied, cleaned and filled with clean water and hot tub appropriate chemicals..AND to see if they were happy with their stay. Housekeeping left a detailed voice mail for Susan and also asked about all aspects of the cabin and their stay. Susan CHOSE not to answer. I let her know the number via text and that she could expect a call from them. I have had the same cleaners for 5 years and never once has there been an issue with the hot tub. Offering to rectify the situation didn’t seem what she wanted! The guests prior to, and also after Susan had no issue, nor have we ever had any cleanliness issues. I didn’t doubt her, I offered to have someone come up! If you don’t want that, then the owner cannot rectify it. I wonder what she was really wanting? I tried to rectify it. I want to know everything about my beautiful cabin and for her to say otherwise is just false. I put my heart and soul into every aspect of our cabin. I completely love what I do. We love our guests and our 2 cabins and have wonderful guests! I did ask her about the cabin. She said they enjoyed it and their stay. Apparently, she just wanted to write a bad review about the hot tub ONLY and never mention if they enjoyed the beauty of our lovely cabin and all that it offers.
Great place to stay
When we first booked this cabin I was a little worried about traveling distance to the attractions, but the drive wasn’t bad at all! Love that each bedroom is on separate floors and all had a king size bed! The owner is very helpful and prompt with response on any questions we had. Our family would highly recommend this cabin :)
We had a great time at Hidden Paradise. You are surrounded by woods but just a 15 minute drive to Sevierville or Pigeon Forge. The host was very gracious and attentive. The cabin was gorgeous and location was perfect.
Enjoyed property, a GFI switch on wall sparked and left half of master without power and the window by loveseat in livingroom had water coming in from rain, other than that was real nice place
I take pride in both my cabins. I put my heart and soul in every aspect of my cabins and they clearly reflect this. My cabins are well maintained, clean and gorgeous. The people we host seem to love the peace and tranquility of our cabin. They love the hot tub, the screened porch, wrap around covered front porch with rocking chairs, brand new couches, pool table, etc… and just being able to relax in a 3-level spacious home. We love what we do and it most certainly shows in how we take care of our cabins. We love our guests and treat them all respectfully.
We send guests a welcome letter email, directions, security access code and helpful information as soon as they book. I'm always available to them.
From the cabin driveway, Anna called wanting to know how she’s supposed to get in. Naturally, I verbally gave her the code. It was clear to me at that point she never read ANYTHING sent to her including the contract which clearly states to contact the owner IMMEDIATELY upon discovery of any issues. They never once communicated with me on anything. No call, text or email. The GFI switch was checked and has no issues. All they had to do was to press the re-set that’s on every GFI switch OR they could have called me immediately upon discovery and I would have sent someone over right away. We cannot address anything if we aren’t informed! And we certainly can’t guess! It’s pretty ridiculous to complain in a review about something that the owner was never informed of! It is the responsibility of the guest to let us know and it is also common courtesy to do so. Wouldn’t you want to know if there were ANY issues at your own home so you could take care of it? Anna chose to NOT inform me of either of those things. She really had nothing nice to say. Her review was negative on a beautiful, lovely home.
