I have been renting this property as a guest until October 2022 when we purchased it. We live in Oklahoma City and go to Tenkiller because it truly is the most beautiful lake in Oklahoma, it is the deepest as well. I love the huge rock cliffs visible from my cabin. Be sure when you stay to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tahlequah called El Molcajete. Great diner 2 miles away as well, Big Red Diner. Check out the brewery in Tahlequah on Old Main Street.

What makes this property unique
Mountaintop Cabin, Sleeps 2, above Pettit Bay with incredible views. Enjoy gorgeous views of Lake Tenkiller from this cozy one-room cabin perched on top of Pettit Mountain in NE Oklahoma.
This 600 sq. ft. cabin offers everything you’ll need for a relaxing get-away. There is a log-queen bed, full bath, a new comfy sleeper sofa and lazyboy recliner in front of a rock fireplace with a wood stove insert, and a 55 inch flat-screen TV with new high-speed internet. Bring a streaming device, like Apple TV or Roku. Netflix and Paramount are loaded into the system, but you'll need to use your password to log in.
The kitchenette has an oven, granite counter tops, fridge, and microwave. The covered back porch has cedar-log rocking chairs and you can feel the breezes coming off of the lake. All bedding and linens are provided. Some people bring citronella candles for the porch and newspapers to burn. (Use non-shiny ones for the woodstove). The cabin is designed for 2 people but there is a sleeper sofa.
Boat parking available.
We kept some of the trees directly behind the cabin to block the hot sun but the lake view is excellent.
Only 2 minutes to the Pettit Bay Campground and Marina. About 20 min to the hospitals in Tahlequah. 40 min to Muskogee.
