Worked for us
Pros-The rv was clean on the inside. We felt safe during our stay. The owner was quick to fix a problem. We loved seeing all of the deer at night and how calm it felt. Cons- The first thing we noticed when we pulled up was how tall the vegetation(grass, weeds) was around the trailer. We ended ip getting stickers in our shoes and pants just trying to get in the door. They had a small area that was mowed, but the rest of the area went up to our knees. The picnic table was even surrounded by tall vegetation and didn’t look inviting to sit at anyhow. The picnic table had a brick as one of the legs. The other issue was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It was soo bad, that we struggled to sleep on our second night there.

It’s a used camper
The stay was nice. The area was nice. The camper was nice. Comfy beds. Clean interior. Clean bathroom. It had been a while since I’ve stayed in a camper, let alone a camper that is stationary and has had a multitude of guests…my only complaint is that the sewer lines need to be cleaned and sanitized or ultimately replaced. The smell in the camper and especially when you flushed the toilet was horrendous. The a/c unit is super loud also but ear plugs would have helped. Everything else was really clean and nice.

Nice stay
The property is beautiful and easy to find. Beautiful flowers including bluebonnets, and little white fences. I was driving my husband's GMC Sierra T4. Turning into the property, my back rear tire jolted us and made it feel like I had hit the fence. The pavement is poured, but the dirt line is a good four inches below, so because of the tight turn in my big truck to avoid hitting the fence on the other side, I pulled to tight on the other side. I did NOT hit the fence. Tire just dropped and popped back up onto the pavement again. What I love about the property is the look and feel (town, but country). The camper itself was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the bunks so much!!!!! They tuck back into the wall behind the bathroom and just loved cozy-ing up into them! I requested a coffee maker and pan to cook eggs for breakfast and she obliged. Very nice! Love the storage and places at the end of the bed to put things, esp shoes. Bed very comfy! Pillows were like clouds! Enjoyed very much!

About the host

Hi! My name is Claudia. I have been in the hosting and hospitality world for about 2 years now. I have a handful of listings on airbnb and now, Vrbo. I truly enjoy getting to form a small part of a mini getaway. I am a counselor and investor by profession, so I believe that hosting is a great combination of the two! I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my guests by providing a little getaway spot!

Why they chose this property

This property has quite the history. My parents decided to invest because we live in Austin and our church is located in Marble Falls, so, we needed a place to stay to avoid all the back and forth driving. This property has served for reunions of all types (family, church, etc).

What makes this property unique

NATURE. DEER. CHICKENS. The Texas Hill Country at it's finest!!
