Fishtown has emerged as Philly’s truest harbor of artistic, culinary and musical action. A classic reimagined working-class neighborhood, so named due to its history as an epicenter for the commercial shad-fishing industry, offers a colorful exception to the city’s gridded urban rule with its collection of narrow streets beset with modest row homes and independently owned businesses.

Parking has alway be been easy to find on the streets that run perpendicular (just north and south) of our street which offer free unlimited parking. They are 1 block north and south of our place. Basically you can park within one block of he house for as long as you like. Everything you need is between a 2-15 minute walk! Additionally Philly offers Temporary Parking Permits which are available for $15 for fifteen days and $30 for thirty days, which runs consecutive. Temporary parking permits must be obtained in-person at the permit office located at 35. N 8th Street.

Place runs well. Be mindful of a smaller landing at the top of the steps which leads to bedrooms.
We will have a 31 day minimum stay rule.m effective 2023. This in keeping with Philly’s rental guidelines. One small dog is possible upon request. No cats due to allergies. Free street parking is available on the streets perpendicular north and south of our street but no assigned parking is available. Absolutely NO SMOKING! Thanks!
