About this property

Great home to make memories at while at the coast. The Blue Heron Cottage rests in Bay City Oregon, a sweet Oregon Coastal retreat area! Conveniently located cozy cottage with bay inspired decor has an outdoor space with fire-pit, covered patio area, and panoramic bay views. Great for couples or families- 2 bedrooms, living room, smart TV, drip and Keurig pod coffee maker, Wi-Fi access, full kitchen with full size refrigerator and dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Sleeps 5 people between 1 queen bed and 1 full bed with twin trundle (pull out bed). We have added a pillow topper to make the full bed more comfortable! The bathroom is complete with a shower (no tub) and stocked with linens.

Cozy and Private home perched on a gravel road hillside, with an outdoor fireplace / fire pit and covered patio seating. All new in 2022! Our turn in road is essentially entirely our drive way. A wonderful spot to visit and chill as you watch the sunset over the bay in the evenings.

Close to Garibaldi and Rockaway beaches for your inner explorer. Also located near “must visit coastal restaurants” and a variety of scenic coastal hikes. The cottage is decorated with a tranquil coastal vibe throughout.

Perfect During Stormy Weather

The house was well equipped. The owner had labels everywhere about how to use appliances, lock windows and doors and warnings about hazards. Our one complaint is the house needs reading lamps in the living room and smaller bedroom. The view of the bay and surrounding trees was great.

Perfect spot for couple

The Blue Heron cottage was ideal for my husband and I. We were exploring the north Oregon coast and found Bay City to be a nice little area and good location for sightseeing the northeast coast. Unfortunately, it rained and was chilly five out of seven days-not something our VRBO owner could control. I would highly recommend this VRBO, maybe not in October.

Great place

House is very nice, clean and organized. Beautiful view and great location for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay at this home, one of the nicest Vrbo rentals we have had. Host was quick to respond when we needed info. Would stay here again or recommend to anyone looking in this area.

Tasteful cottage

Lovely and quiet, tasteful decor without being overdone. Inside is new and up-to-date. Great deck and outdoor fireplace area with awesome views of Tillamook Bay.
