Home away from home!

We stayed here for close to 3 months while our house was being renovated. It was perfect for us and our toddler, who loved the back yard and his "big boy bedroom" (he upgraded from a twin to a queen)... We spent a lot of time in the spacious kitchen. There was plenty of cookware, which was great for us because we love cooking. The location is awesome- right down the street from The Filling Station/Crestwood Blvd. Only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown, Pepper Place is just a few miles away. Overall, this was the perfect place for us to have an extended family staycation in Birmingham and we can't say enough about how cozy and convenient it is!

Baseball Trip

I enjoyed my stay and already miss the place. The kitchen was plenty big enough for us to gather and cook several good meals and have drinks while sharing stories. I do wish the out door space was nicer. Lot's of weeds on the side porch.

i enjoyed my stay at the house . everything about it was wondering from checking in to checking out process felt like i was at home so that feeling was definitely a plus, and being close to downtown area was very convenient for me. id definitely book with vrbo again, and i encourage you to do the same if you're considering this place.

The alley to access the home is narrow and easy to miss. It was difficult finding the home the first time because it was dark when we arrived. It didn’t smell clean but was not cluttered. The owner was responsive when assistance was needed.

Ok place but issues galore

Aside from the massive taxes, the door code was incorrect, the TV was falling out of wall (wall anchors were pulled out of wall), dirty floor(black feet after walking barefoot), and the washer leaked all over floor and couldn’t be used. Owner tried to address things and did give us a bottle of wine.
