Harbor View Vacation Villa - Affordable - Palmetto Dunes Beach Access Included

Enjoy all the space you need for your Hilton Head vacation in this 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa, just steps from terrific restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops, sports bars, boutiques, and spas. Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina is located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, with festivals and events planned throughout the year. Shelter Cove's location, next to the award-winning Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, allows for easy access to the best island activities available!

Of course, you can’t miss the beach! A free pass is included to access Palmetto Dunes’ private 3-mile-long beach, 4 minutes away by car (or about 1 ½ miles on the walking/biking path). There are also a number of public beaches on the island to check out.

A large and inviting private pool is steps from the villa, perfect for family fun and soaking up the sun – lounge chairs included. Take a dip in the hot tub, too! Along with the large grill area, this landscaped compound is the perfect place to kick back and relax.

This 1,600 sq ft townhouse is located on the 4th floor of Harbourside III, with elevator service and gated parking. The first floor of the villa is comprised of a spacious entry, fully equipped kitchen with pantry closet, a comfortable living room, and a dining area that seats 6. A bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom with tub/shower are also located on this floor. All rooms are bright and inviting. Step out onto the balcony to enjoy your coffee or a snack while watching the harbor and the frequent live entertainment in the pavilion below.

On the second floor, you’ll find the spacious primary bedroom with ensuite, recently renovated bathroom and walk-in closet. Enjoy the harbor view from the kind-size bed and relax in the comfortable retreat atmosphere. The second bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds, a roomy closet, and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower. In addition, a full-sized washer and dryer are provided for your use.

You can access many different water activities from Shelter Cove, including boat tours, dolphin tours, fishing charters, and boat/kayak/paddleboat/waterskiing rentals. It’s also easy to rent bicycles and e-bikes by the day or by the week.

From mid-March to Mid-September, you can ride the Palmetto Dunes Buggy shuttle service for free anywhere within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina. Vans generally arrive within 10 minutes of the request. Load your beach gear and get dropped off at the Dunes House – a fun beach restaurant and bar. Restrooms and outdoor showers and are available there, as well.

Hilton Head is internationally known for its magnificent golf courses. Within Palmetto Dunes are three legend-built courses rated four stars or more by Fodor’s Golf Digest Places to Play.

Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center features 17 clay tennis courts, four of which are lighted for night play. In addition, there are 24 dedicated Pickleball courts, 8 lighted for night play, and one of the most comprehensive instructional programs on the east coast.

Shelter Cove is close to a variety of grocery stores including Kroger, The Fresh Market, Harris Teeter, and Publix.
