We experienced many issues with this property and would not stay with SVR in the future.
14. Floor tile along kitchen to bedroom was cracked, and we were concerned about a structural issue.
15. Dryer did not dry clothes properly. We were notified that there wasn’t an issue with the dryer. After looking at it again ourselves, we notified guest services that the outside vent was plugged solid with lint, and we were concerned about a fire issue. Finally, it was cleaned after 2 weeks, but dryer was still not working properly. We asked to have someone clean the vent pipe because of a fire risk and were told there wasn’t an issue.
16. A vent on the balcony was wide open to bugs and birds. We were told that nothing in the condominiums vented on the balcony. We investigated and found that both bathrooms vented onto the balcony. We forwarded Southern the information and a picture. They were going to have it repaired right away so that we would stop seeing bugs in the bathrooms, but they never showed up while we were there.
17. The bedroom window was in the locked position but not locked and not secured. It was just made to look like it was secured.
18. Bunk bed bathroom soap dish was broken. It took 2 weeks to replace.
19. Bunk bed bathroom vanity had a broken handle, they never repaired this item so we did.
20. Paint was peeling from the entrance door and master bedroom doors.
21. Master bedroom bath tub drain was backing up. Someone was going to come right out but never did. We purchased supplies and cleared it ourselves.
