About this property

This Executive Mountain Home is located on 2 acres in Garden Valley close to the Middlefork River. This is a 1.5 mill custom built home that boasts 3 bedrooms, all 3 include King Beds, ensuite walk in tile shower with each having private exterior entrances. Will will find a fully stocked gourmet Kitchen. This home has all of the amenities you need for a wonderful Vacation or Adult work get away! Fully furnished attic that includes a trundle bed with 2 twins, a couch futon folds out to a bed and 1 twin blowup bed (4th bdrm). The backyard is truly amazing with the views and peace that it brings. The amenities include Jacuzzi, shower, cozy patio furniture, pizza oven, BBQ, and a fenced area for dogs. If you need additional space, we have a Tiny Cabin for reservation next door and an RV pad with water and electric. All 3 spaces feel private and are separate from each other.

Beautiful property

It was a beautiful property. There was a lot of details throughout the house like towels, robes, and chocolates on the pillows that was very welcoming. Property owner was very responsive to questions.

Retreat from the world

Great location and easy to find. Loved the interior and exterior of the house. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking very easy. The animal watching was wonderful! The beds were amazingly wonderful! The owner was easy to communicate when/if needed. I loved the instruction manual left by the owner, who stated, if you want to party this is not the property for you. They were not kidding about this. We were not there to party, but to relax. Keep in mind quiet hours on a week night means do not get in the hot tub, if you are hoping to talk. Your voices will carry, and this will bother the neighbors. Other than this, this was a wonderful, clean, well cared for, and relaxing place to stay to get some work done and to enjoy nature and relax!

Beautiful property in a beautiful place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this impeccably maintained and appointed property. The outdoor space overlooks a park-like setting replete with Whitetail deer and the sounds of Sandhill cranes. The hosts Gregg and Gaylene were gracious and welcoming. Perfect respite from the modern world.

Best Short Term Rental in GV

We have been going to GV for several years over the 4th of July. This has been the best house by far for our family of 8. The outdoor patio was nice and where we spent most of our time. Beautiful location, space, and home. We finally found the home that we will continue to rent on our July adventures to Garden Valley.

Open floor plan with 2,400 sq ft provides ample space for entertainment and relaxation. Each bedroom has a T.V., private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and its own access to the backyard. The gourmet kitchen you will find separate wet bar/coffee area along with a wine fridge and ice maker for your ice chests!
The main living area opens up to a wrap around 1,000 sq ft deck with 180 degree views! Enjoy the wildlife traveling through the property which can include Elk, Deer, Turkey, Quail, and occasional Fox & Bobcat. Go for a relaxing walk to our river access on Smith Creek & River Meadows Dr. or bring your toys to enjoy the recreational playground right outside your doorstep!
Only 2 additional neighbors are tucked back in this quiet setting. Mountain Views!! You will see Deer, Elk, Quail and birds! We also have a Tiny Cabin on the property if you need to rent additional space. The front deck boasts 1,000 sq feet!

What makes this property unique

With the Main House rental, you will have access up to the bridge to the left of the pond, where the Chicken Coop and Garden are located (both of which are maintained by the Owners). Beyond the bridge, the Tiny Cabin property line begins, which is located on a creek and is separate from the Main House. If you wish to rent both properties please inquire or you can find this property on AirBNB under Tiny Cabin in the Mountains of Garden Valley. There is also a 5th Wheel pad located to the front of the property with electric and water hookups. Each section brings a feel of privacy to our Guests. The 2 car garage & sub garage located under the Master Bedroom will be locked for Owners personal use. Wood is available at $8 a bundle & Organic eggs $5 a dozen, pl text or call.

Garden Valley is a wonderful outdoor playground! Some activities include: Saturday Farmers Market, Floating the Middle Fork River, Terrace Lakes geothermal pool with Restaurant & Bar, Wine Festival in June, Whitewater Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Starlight Mountain Theater, Silver Creek Plunge Resort, Local restaurants w/ live music, Coffee Shops, and local UTV Rentals.

****NOTE: There is a (2) pet maximum at $75.00 per pet/ 50lb. If you need to inquire for additional, please reach out to Host for approval. Any additional guests over 8 will be charged $10 per guest per night, Excluding infants under 12 mos of age.
