About this property

The space:
This spacious home sleeps 10 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed. 2nd Bedroom has a Queen size bed. 3rd bedroom offers two twin beds. The living room has 2 brand new Queen Sleeper Sofas. The front porch has bench seating on one side and chair seating on the other for front porch sitting while the back porch has plenty of seating, tables, additional lighting and a mounted fan to keep you cool during the hot days and enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon lunch or evening wind down.

*We ask that scallops/oysters not be shucked inside the rental. There is a fish cleaning station on the property that can be utilized for cleaning fish or shucking scallops/oysters during your stay.*

Guest access:
Entire home, covered boat parking, outdoor fish cleaning station, charcoal grill, front deck, back deck and fire pit.

Other things to note:
Covered Boat parking and Fish Cleaning Station are now completed and ready for you!

**We do ask that all fish carcasses and scallop/oyster shells be removed from the property prior to checkout.**

**WHILE WE LOVE PETS, OUR INSURANCE DOES NOT ALLOW PETS OTHER THAN REGISTERED SERVICE ANIMALS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ADA. A $250 FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ANY BOOKING THAT HAS A PET AT OR IN THE RENTAL WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.**

Quiet

We enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area and nice setup in the back for a group. I was worried about leaving our fishing supplies and small motors out at night, but we had absolutely no problems. Was great to be able to put 2 boats under the carport. Would stay here again!

Nice place to stay when scalloping and fishing

Enjoyed our stay here. It was nice to have a cleaning table for the scallops. Kitchen had decent cookware- we usually bring our own just in case but didn’t need to use it. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the single serve coffee maker. Thank you!

Why they chose this property

Captain's Choice was a rental home that my husband and I stayed in while visiting Steinhatchee. We liked the place so much, we decided it was a must have! I love the atmosphere that Steinhatchee provides; all the festivals and concerts, the food and most of all, the people. One of my favorite things to do in Steinhatchee is watch the boats being moved in and out of storage. It's really fascinating!

What makes this property unique

My favorite feature of this home is the back porch. It allows for everyone to gather and enjoy their time together while still enjoying the outdoors. My second favorite is the coffee bar!!! I love a good cup of coffee!
