Cute and Cozy
Cute, cozy, and clean! Simple retreat with nothing fancy (just like we wanted!) But, although we had hot water in the bathroom, we had ongoing problems with the hot water in the kitchen. We ended up boiling water to do the dishes after each meal! Hopefully a simple fix, but incredibly frustrating for meal prep and clean up. We had two brief episodes of warm water, but otherwise cold! Also, although we had a hard time finding the property, Mckay was helpful to get us found!

Not as expected
This was smaller than I thought. The hide-a-bed was terribly uncomfortable and the sheet on it was dirty. The shower water on Sunday was cold.

Misleading not clean
This listing was misleading. This is the 2nd unit on this property. It was musty smelling, like it had been shut up for a long time. We opened what windows would open, some were inoperable. The cabin is not secure if you do open the windows because the screen is just magnetic. It wasn’t clean. There was hair on the pillowcase! The kitchen utensils had food on them and the coffee cup had not been washed. It had coffee stains in it, it washed right out. The couch had burns in the cushions. There were cobwebs on the light fixture in the living room and in the bathroom. There were dead bugs in the corner of the bedroom. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain we had to plunge it. The outside cushions were chewed up and mildewy. There’s an outdoor fire pit, there were 2 pieces of wood provided but no matches. Big problem was the hot water. To get any in the kitchen to wash dishes you have to run the shower first. Then it only lasted for about 10 seconds. We didn’t stay our entire booked nights.

Somewhat disappointed
The cabin itself was ok, but the kitchen could have been cleaner..stove and silverware drawer was not great. Very disappointed with outside areas..deck and firepit area furniture was unusable due to being filthy and broke down. Cushions were left out all winter
